    Abstract: A coating composition containing 100 parts by weight of a resin composition consisting of 30 to 90 parts by weight of (A) a hydroxyl group-containing polyester resin and 10 to 70 parts by weight of (B) a melamine resin curing agent selected from the group consisting of a mixture of methyl etherified melamine resin with butyl etherified melamine resin and a melamine resin having three or more on an average of methyl etherified methylol group per one of triazine nucleus and having a number average molecular weight of 1,000 or less; 0.2 to 3.0 parts by weight, calculated in terms of an amount of a sulfonic acid compound, of (C) a curing catalyst consisting of a neutralized product between the sulfonic acid compound and an amine; and 1 to 20 parts by weight of (D) a silicone compound mainly consisting of polydimethylsiloxane chain and having at least one selected from hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, epoxy group and mercapto group as a functional group.
