Abstract: An adhesive composition including at least 7% and at most 30% by weight of adhesive component, which adhesive component includes at least one polyvinyl alcohol and/or at least one dextrin and/or at least one starch, further including a carbomer and optionally a boron compound, wherein the pH of the composition is at most 13.0 and, if starch and the boron compound are present, more than 91.0% of all the starches in the composition are in a cold water insoluble form. Further provided are a solid dry premix suitable as the basis for the adhesive composition, and processes for preparing the solid dry premix, or the adhesive composition, and articles wherein any of these are employed to form an adhesive bond with a substrate.

Abstract: A Hydroseed substrate for mixing with other ingredients such as water, seeds, fertilizer, wetting agents and dye, to produce Hydroseeding slurry is disclosed. The absorbent is a super absorbent polymer such as linear polyacrylamide (—CH2CHCONH2—) or copolymers of acrylamide (C3H5NO) polymers. Abstract: Nucleophilic substitution reactions of halogenated polymers and azoles are used to produce derivatives of polyolefins bear pendant azolium ionomers. These uncured ionomers are useful in adhesive, antimicrobial applications, as well as in polymer composites and polymer blends. Abstract: The invention relates to novel, stable bi-molecular cationic inverse emulsion polymers (W/O) with both different molecular weights and cationic activities that are assembled via an “in situ” emulsion polymerization of a high molecular weight cationic polymer in the presence of a low molecular weight polymer in the aqueous phase.
