    Abstract: A method for producing bulk good of agglomerates made of rubber particles and wax. A composition of the agglomerate and the use of the bulk good to produce asphalt or bitumen masses are created in that rubber is activated by swelling and using a swelling agent and a melt made of viscosity-reducing wax and of optional polyoctenamer is added, the activated rubber particles are agglomerated by means of the viscosity-reducing wax and optional adhesion-improving substances. The resulting larger volume leads to a viscosity reduction and the softening leads to a more intimate and more homogeneous wetting with the wax and, in the mixed good to be produced, a viscosity reduction remaining stable in the mixed good for <180 min and an increased stability of the cross-linking of the rubber molecules among each other after the agglomerates have been incorporated are achieved.

    Abstract: A cyclic olefin resin composition which includes (A) 35 to 85 parts by weight of a cyclic olefin polymer having a glass transition temperature of 60 to 200° C., (B) 10 to 60 parts by weight of a flexible copolymer, prepared by polymerizing at least two monomers selected from the group consisting of an olefin compound, a diene compound and an aromatic vinyl hydrocarbon compound, and having a glass transition temperature of 0° C. or below, and (C) 5 to 55 parts by weight of a modified polyolefin. The cyclic olefin resin composition further includes, based on 100 parts by weight of total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C), (D) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a radical initiator and (E) 0 to 5 parts by weight of a polyfunctional compound having in its molecule two or more radically polymerizable functional groups. The composition can be used as a material for a substrate having low permittivity, low dielectric tangent, low water absorbability, and excellent heat resistance.

    Abstract: High-temperature-curing reactive compositions based on natural and/or synthetic elastomers containing olefinic double bonds, and on vulcanizing agents, are described, which contain at least one liquid polyene having a molecular weight between 400 and 80,000 and at least one liquid polybutadiene having a narrow molecular weight distribution and a microstructure of 10 to 20% vinyl-1,2 double bonds, 50 to 60% trans-1,4 double bonds, and 25 to 35% cis-1,4 double bonds in the molecule. These compositions furthermore contain a vulcanizing system of sulfur and accelerators and/or, if applicable, quinone oximes. These compositions are suitable for use as a single-component adhesive, sealant, or coating compound in automobile manufacture, with high tensile shear strength and high impact peel strength even, in particular, at low temperatures.

Improved processing, reaction kinetics and efficiencies are achieved, as well as thermoplastic vulcanizate products having decreased weight gain when placed in mineral oils.

The cured clearcoat may undergo wet sanding after baking as soon as the part is cooled, and can then be buffed back to a high gloss finish after sanding and washing.
