Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a white light emitting diode backlight module for supplying white light, a plurality of red sub-pixels, a plurality of green sub-pixels and a plurality of blue sub-pixels. Each of the blue sub-pixels includes a blue color filter, and each of the blue color filters has a blue light wavelength-transmittance relationship curve. A ratio of a maximum transmittance of the blue light wavelength-transmittance relationship curve to a full width at half maximum value of the maximum transmittance is greater than or equal to 0.0075.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a conjugate comprising an active substance and a compound having a binding site for metallic compounds. In addition, this invention relates to a process for the preparation of such a conjugate and its use.

Abstract: The invention relates to fibre-reactive anthraquinone dyes of formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, B, U, R and n are as defined in claim 1. The anthraquinone dyes of formula (1) are suitable for dyeing or printing hydroxyl group containing or nitrogen-containing fibre materials and give dyeings or prints of good allround fastness properties.
Abstract: Pharmaceutical compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each hydrogen, hydroxyl, halo, C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, acyloxy, --O-glucoside, optionally substituted phenyl or optionally substituted phenyl-C.sub.1-4 alkoxy;R.sup.3 istetrazolyl, orand R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are each hydrogen, hydroxy, acyloxy, nitro, C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, halo, optionally substituted phenyl, --SO.sub.3 H or --NR'R" where R' and R" are each hydrogen or C.sub.1-4 alkyl;provided that when R.sup.3 is --CR'R".CHR'"CO.sub.2 H or tetrazolyl, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each hydroxyl, halo, C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, acyloxy, --O-glucoside, optionally substituted phenyl or optionally substituted phenyl C.sub.1-4 alkoxy; andor a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof.

Abstract: Reactive dyes useful for dyeing or printing hydroxyl- or nitrogen-containing substrates have the formula ##STR1## where U is vinyl, propenyl or the radical of the formula ##STR2## in which Z.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl and Z.sup.2 is a group which is detachable under alkaline reaction conditions,X isa) the radical of a chromophore orb) the radical of a coupling component to which may be additionally attached the radical of a diazo component via an azo linkage and which may contain an additional reactive group, andL isa) a bridge member of the formula ##STR3## where Q.sup.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, Q.sup.2 and Q.sup.3 are each independently of the other hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, and Q.sup.4 is a leaving group, orb) an azo linkage, the radical X-L being bonded to the benzene ring meta or para to the CH.sub.2 -SO.sub.3 H group, and their preparation may involve novel benzyl compounds as intermediates.
