Oxygen Attached Directly To The Nitrogen Of The Thioimidate Group By Nonionic Bonding (i.e., Ho-n=ch-s-, Wherein Substitution May Be Hydrogen Only) Patents (Class 558/3)
  • Patent number: 8819553
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for on-the-fly playlist shuffling. There can be multiple ways to perform the shuffling. In one instance, the electronic device can organize a new playlist by sorting the media files based on a parameter. In another instance, the electronic device can organize a new playlist by shuffling the media files. In yet another instance, the electronic device can first sort the media files into groups of media files based on a parameter. The electronic device can then shuffle the media files within each group. In this manner, the media files can be randomized but only within each group. In all instances, the current media file can continue to play without any interruption. Finally, the electronic device can sort the media files based on the context of the media file that is currently playing.

  • Patent number: 5393921
Abstract: A process for synthesizing O-substituted oxime compounds, which includes (a) reacting an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal hydroxide compound and a solution of an oxime compound to form a first mixture including the alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt of the oxime compound and water; and (b) adding an organohalide compound while stirring to the first mixture to form a second mixture including an O-substituted oxime compound, the alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt of the oxime compound, water, unreacted organohalide compound and excess oxime compound. The second mixture is heated in the presence of an amount of water sufficient to react hydroxide with the unreacted organohalide compound to obtain an O-substituted oxime compound substantially free of unreacted organohalide compound. In a further embodiment, the O-substituted oxime compound can be hydrolyzed to the corresponding O-substituted hydroxylamine.

  • Patent number: 4698438
Abstract: A continuous, close-coupled method for making N-methyl carbamate pesticides which comprises contacting the methyl isocyanate in a vapor phase mixture containing methyl isocyanate and water with a selected oxime or phenol, said mixture being the reaction product formed by oxidizing monomethylformamide. An optional intermediate step for preparing the methyl isocyanate/water vapor phase reaction mixture for contact with the oxime or phenol is to remove therefrom a portion of the water without liquefying the methyl isocyanate by cooling the mixture to a temperature below the dew point of water but above the dew point of the methyl isocyanate.
