C. The N,N'-bis-salicyloyl hydrazine prepared by the method according to the invention is suitable particularly as an additive to polymers for cable and wire insulation in power and communication engineering.

    Abstract: Novel compounds are described which are substituted benzophenone hydrazones. They have pesticidal activity, especially against insects and acarids, and pesticidal compositions and methods are described. Methods of making the compounds, and novel intermediates, are also described.

When employed in the art of carbonless paper the aromatic substituted hydrazone and the transition metal salt complex to form yellow colored images. The invention provides means for producing dark, black, neutral images by the reaction of the aromatic substituted hydrazones and conventional dithiooxamide complexing compounds, both carried in an organic cosolvent vehicle, with transition metal salts.
