Abstract: The apparatus for immobilizing and treating a subject includes a suitable apparatus for performing mechanical CPR secured to an immobilization casing. The airtight flexible casing is secured to the apparatus for performing CPR, the casing having variable rigidity which varies as a function of the amount of air within the casing. Two or more slots through the casing permit passage of one or more elements of the CPR apparatus to pass through the casing. One or more incompressible windows may be included in the casing to optimize the performance of mechanical CPR by permitting one or more elements of the subject's skeleton to contact the CPR apparatus. A device for evacuating the air from within the flexible casing to control the rigidity of the casing is included within the CPR apparatus.
Abstract: A body shaping machine has an action mechanism and a massaging belt which is fastened at two ends to two action members of the action mechanism. The action mechanism includes two deceleration devices and two displacement devices. The deceleration devices each have an output shaft, and a crank mounted on the output shaft. The two cranks of the two deceleration devices are mounted in reverse. The rotary motions of the two cranks are changed into the reciprocating linear motions by the two displacement devices, thereby enabling the two action members to bring about linear displacement motions opposite in direction.
Abstract: A multi-stage bi-directional breath flow and blood circulation aider is provided with a plurality of ratchet teeth arranged in one end of a positioning seat and an adapter respectively for being meshed with each other, and the positioning seat is covered with the adapter and a closure for multi-stage control of physical energy consumption by taking advantage of an eccentric rod of the adapter. A plurality of recessed grooves is formed on the eccentric rod for arranging two fixed belts so as to commit eccentric rotation to pull and release the belts reciprocally for physical gymnastic exercise.
