Abstract: A nursing garment system to facilitate selective nursing and hands-free breastpumping having at least one connector configured to selectively connect a nursing bra to at least one of a hands-free breastpumping device, a nursing cover, and a breast cup of the system is disclosed. The at least one connector may include a closing device partially attached to each of the at least one of the hands-free breastpumping device, the nursing cover, and the breast cup of the system, the closing device configured to connect to a nursing bra closing device. The system may include a pumping garment having a partial figure 8 edge.

Abstract: Provided is a post surgical breast dressing including: a front portion including a left cup and a right cup connected or connectable to one another; at least one back strap for fitting around a subject's back; left and right trans-axial portions connecting the back strap with the left cup and the right cup, respectively, each of the left and right trans-axial portions including, respectively, left and right in breast in fold portions and left and right under arm portions, the breast dressing wherein at least one of the left under arm portion and right under arm portion include an external layer, an internal layer, and an absorbing dressing.

Abstract: A nursing pad and nursing pad holder configured to be attached by a band to a bra strap. The pad and pad holder may be oriented over a nipple of a nursing mother, between the breast and bra cup, thereby absorbing any leaking milk before or after nursing.

Abstract: A carrier system for carrying medical device accessories includes a first battery pouch to enclose at least a portion of a first battery and a garment to be worn about a torso. The garment including a plurality of accessory connection features adapted to allow for adjustable attachment of at least the first battery pouch and for adjustable attachment of a medical device controller that is electrically connected to a medical device.

Abstract: A fastener (10) comprising an attachment section (30) for permanent attachment to an anchoring area, a target section (60) for permanent attachment to a landing area, and a fastening section (40) for selective attachment and detachment from the target section (60). A breakable connection (70) initially connects the fastening section (40) and the target section (60), and this connection (70) is broken to disconnect the fastening section (40) from the target section (60) when fastener (10) is converted from a closed condition to an opened condition. A single fingerlift (80) can be gripped both when converting the fastener (10) from an installed condition to the closed condition, and when converting the fastener (10) from the closed condition to the opened condition.

Abstract: An absorbent article may comprise a topsheet, a backsheet joined with the topsheet, an absorbent core interposed between the topsheet and backsheet; and one or more article elements selected from the group consisting of an anal cuff, an elasticized topsheet, a fastening system, a leg cuff, a waist elastic feature, a side panel, an ear, and combinations thereof. The article elements may comprise a slow recovery stretch laminate exhibiting an unload force at 37° C. of about 0.16 N/(g/m) or greater and a percent of initial strain after 15 seconds of recovery at 22° C. of about 10% or greater.

Abstract: A pair of bra cups formed as a single, molded layer, each cup having a inner surface and an outer surface. An opening extends between the inner and outer surfaces of each cup at the location of the wearer's nipples. Each cup has a pocket positioned over and secured to the inner surface of the cup. The pocket overlays approximately one-half of the inner surface, but does not cover any part of the opening. An absorbent, replaceable nursing pad is positioned and retained within each pocket. The pad serves to cover the opening when in place in the pocket, but is removable from the pocket when nursing is completed. This nursing bra configuration is readily adaptable for use with a variety of bra to body attachment and support devices. The design obviates the need for flaps attached with snaps or hooks and thus facilitates unobstructed nursing. In addition, backless and strapless designs allow the user to wear the bra with fashionable dresses and blouses.

Abstract: A soft tissue support is disclosed. The apparatus preferably comprises a two-ply garment adapted to provide support for hip and shoulder wounds. The garment itself comprises a suspension portion and a tissue support wrap portion adapted to encircle the traumatized parts, and further provides support for the buttocks and the deltoid.

Abstract: A disposable, contoured, form fitting, absorbent breast pad comprising three layers, an inner fluid wicking layer, a central fluid absorbent layer, and an outer moisture resistant layer, which is generally tear drop in shape and dome-like in cross-section and is large enough to encompass substantially the entire female breast and to fill substantially the average nursing and maternity bra cup.

Abstract: An article can be releasably attached to a fabric or other foraminous substrate by means of a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape fastener, the backing of which has an array of bluntly pointed stems protruding beyond the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The back face of the fastener can have an adhesive layer by which it can be adhered to a sanitary napkin, and the napkin can be releasably attached to an undergarment by allowing the stems to penetrate into openings in the fabric of the undergarment until the pressure-sensitive adhesive becomes releasably bonded to the fabric. The fastener can be more supple and less obtrusive than are "Velcro" fasteners and can be produced at significantly lower cost.

Abstract: A shoulder-joint bandage having an elastic sleeve and a pair of belts which extend helically around the sleeve in opposite senses from the distal end thereof to then run along opposite lateral edges of a cap of the sleeve overlying the shoulder. The belts cross again behind the back of the patient and one belt passes around the other arm through the armpit and joins the other belt, e.g. at a buckle permitting longitudinal adjustment of the belts.
