  • Patent number: 11737771
Abstract: A device for removing a clot from a vessel can have dual layers where an inner expandable member runs within an outer expandable member. The inner expandable member can be divided into one or more sections, with a proximal section having a clot pinching structure configured to pinch the clot between the pinching structure and an outer catheter. A distal flow channel section of the inner member can be configured to create a flow channel through the clot to restore blood to the downstream vasculature. The struts of the outer expandable member can form closed cells that are not fully circumferential in a proximal portion to allow a clot to pass inside and engage the pinching structure, and fully circumferential in a distal portion to scaffold the vessel for dislodging the clot. A protective element at the distal end of the device can prevent the escape of clot fragments.

  • Patent number: 11554006
Abstract: A removable blood clot filter includes a number of locator members and anchor members disposed radially and extending angularly downward from a hub. The locator members include a number of linear portions having distinct axes configured to place a tip portion approximately parallel to the walls of a blood vessel when implanted to apply sufficient force to the vessel walls to position the filter near the vessel centerline. The anchor members each include a hook configured to penetrate the vessel wall to prevent longitudinal movement due to blood flow. The hooks may have a cross section sized to allow for a larger radius of curvature under strain so that the filter can be removed without damaging the vessel wall.

  • Patent number: 11547417
Abstract: A left atrial appendage occluder comprises an elastic closure disc, and a supporting structure connecting with the closure disc and being located on one side of the closure disc, with the supporting structure comprising a central end connecting with the closure disc and a plurality of interconnected and bent struts, wherein at least one anchoring thorn is set near the end of at least one strut with the anchoring thorn toward the closure disc. The left atrial appendage occluder has a stable structure, a good positioning and sealing effect on the cavity wall in the left atrial appendage, and it is easy to position repeatedly; it can also be recycled before separating from a conveyor. When in surgical operation, the left atrial appendage occluder can select the position area based on the actual shape and size of the patient's left atrial appendage, so the surgical risk is lowered.

  • Patent number: 11547414
Abstract: A device for treating an aneurysm with a braided implant can include a delivery tube having a spiral groove on an outer surface of the delivery tube and a braided implant having a spiral segment. The spiral segment can engage the spiral groove as the braided implant is delivered to an aneurysm treatment site. At the treatment site, the braided implant can be implanted, and the delivery tube can be rotated to disengage the spiral segment from the spiral groove. Once released, the spiral segment can reshape to occlude the neck of the aneurysm.

  • Patent number: 11547834
Abstract: A guide extension catheter includes a push member and a distal shaft coupled to and extending distally from the push member. The distal shaft includes a shaft wall and a passageway. The shaft wall includes a helically-shaped proximal end and a distal end. The helically-shaped proximal end coils helically about a first central longitudinal axis of the passageway of the distal shaft. The helically-shaped proximal end of the shaft wall defines a helically-shaped entry port of the distal shaft. The distal shaft may include a helically-shaped collar coupled to the helically-shaped proximal end of the distal shaft, the collar defining the helically-shaped entry port of the distal shaft.
