Sliding Or Rolling On Guide Means Patents (Class 62/302)
  • Patent number: 4082142
Abstract: A housing, for the expansion unit of a cooling system, has a top wall, a bottom wall and end walls; and those walls define a space which accommodates that expansion unit. That housing has a front opening which is filled by an air-distributing transition member; and it has a rear opening that is substantially closed by an air-guiding member. That air-guiding member can support a motor and a pair of multi-vane blowers, or it can be an angular transition for a single blower. That air-guiding member is shorter than the rear opening to provide a short space which can accommodate the supply and return headers of the expansion unit. That air-guiding member can be set in either of two predetermined positions relative to that rear opening to permit the supply and return headers to be located at either end of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4019339
Abstract: A System and Cold Cabinet Server therefor to condition pre-packaged foods and to maintain them at serving temperature during storage and for customer access. A structural relationship of means is provided in cooperatively related bin type cabinets to combine the inherent principles of convection, absorption and recirculation to maximum advantage and to the end that heat induction from the surrounding atmosphere is minimized despite the completely open and accessible bin configuration. The Cold Cabinet is a self-sufficient entity provided with a replaceable refrigeration unit supplied with power such as an electrical plug-in, and is completely mobile; and adapted to be quickly assembled in service lines that are readily modified or broken down for storage.

  • Patent number: 4012922
Abstract: An air cooling equipment for cooling containers stacked in ships' holds comprises an upright column attached to a bulkhead or some other part of the ship's structure and provided with connections adapted to cooperate with corresponding connections provided on the containers in the stack for the supply of cold air and the withdrawal of exhaust air. The column is mounted in a manner which permits its horizontal displacement towards and away from the stack of containers. Each column connection is provided with a sealing ring which can be pressed on the cooperating connection of a container to create a tight seal.
