  • Patent number: 11478580
Abstract: Systems and methods are described to flush debris from a suction pipe network installed in a medical office. A filter, an amalgam separator and at least one flexible vacuum line are disconnected from a suction pipe network. The suction pipe network has a main trunk line, a downstream end, and at least one branch line. A neutral pH cleaning fluid solution is passed through the main trunk line from a location downstream of the at least one branch line to flush debris from the main trunk and the at least one branch line. The neutral pH cleaning fluid solution is collected subsequent to the neutral pH cleaning fluid solution being circulated through the main trunk line and the at least one branch line. Then, the filter, the amalgam separator and the at least one flexible vacuum line are reconnected to the suction pipe network.

Abstract: An inline washing system to be formed from a tunnel-type washing machine (10) which only washes the items of laundry. Rinsing and also water removal are then performed in the downstream water-removal press (18). It has been found that the rinsing performance is better and fresh water can be saved as a result of this. It is therefore also possible to wash relatively small amounts of laundry using a tunnel-type washing machine (10) in an economical manner because the tunnel-type washing machine (10) can be designed without a rinse zone.

  • Patent number: 4976119
Abstract: An apparatus for expressing liquid from a load of laundry has an upwardly open vessel having upright side walls and a floor and adapted to contain the load to be dewatered. Liquid can be drained from this vessel and a piston is vertically displaceable into and out of the vessel toward and away from the floor thereof. A relatively soft cushion is carried on the piston and has a downwardly concave lower face engageable against the laundry load on the vessel floor. The piston can be displaced vertically between an upper position with the lower face above and outside the vessel and a lower position with the lower face pressing the load against the vessel floor. The cushion has an outwardly concave side surface. The cushion can be hollow and filled with a liquid. In addition it is so soft that when compressed with a pressure of 20 bar to 30 bar it is of generally half the volume it has when at ambient pressure.

  • Patent number: 4878365
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the continuous treatment of a textile web is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a foulard in which the textile web is provided with a first treatment bath and squeezed off to a moisture content of 60 to 100%. The web then is conducted to a gore applicator in which the web is provided with a second bath application of 40 to 100%. The second application occurs in an upright vat in which the textile web is always in contact with only a very small quantity of continually replenished treatment bath. The vat is sealed at a bottom gap by two mutually opposing inflatable hoses with one hose disposed on each side of the textile web. The hoses sealingly abut against the web and wipe off treatment bath entrained by the web to a predetermined total moisture content. In the dyeing process, the web subsequently runs into a steam apparatus and then into a washing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4207007
Abstract: A tubular chamber is divided by a rigid annular partition into two sections. Each section comprises a resilient membrane installed co-axially with the chamber shell with a certain gap relative to the shell to form a cavity communicating with a gas medium source. This cavity accommodates a stationary perforated rigid member installed coaxially with the membrane and the chamber wall to bear the membrane in its extreme expanded state, when no gas medium is supplied into the cavity. When the gas medium is delivered from the source into the cavity, the membranes contract and expand alternately, causing the liquid to move and agitate. An installation for treatment of loose materials is proposed, which is constructed with the use of these liquid-stirring devices.
