Abstract: An apparatus for removing a hook embedded within a tissue is presented. The hook has a barb extending from a point section of the hook. The apparatus includes a clamping device configured to secure the hook. A probe is coupled to the clamping device. The probe has a tip portion configured to fit within a space between the barb and the point section of the hook to allow the hook to be removed from the tissue.
Abstract: The invention relates to a combination (1) of control cabinet keys (2), individual keys being situated in the same plane but extending at a fixed angle (x) relative to one another and connected via a common center part (4, 5). Due to the fixed connection between the keys, during handling, a torque may be applied to a key (2) that is used. For ease of handling, a first unit (E1) and a second unit (E2) of keys extending at a fixed angle (x) relative to one another are provided, all units (E1, E2) have their own center part, and the units are detachably connected at their center parts (4, 5), and/or the keys are rotatable relative to one another, but only in a respective predefined plane.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for attachment and detachment of watch straps are provided. The apparatus and methods of the present invention may be used to attach a strap to and detach a strap from a watch having a strap attached by a compressible spring bar. In some embodiments, the invention may include a tool for attaching and detaching the strap that has a base and a blade. The base may support the watch and the blade may protrude from the base to compress the spring bar and release it from the body of the watch. The blade may have a notch for engaging the spring bar.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for an achieving low-rate collagen shrinkage using an electrode array comprising an elongated insulator strip having at least one pair of spaced-apart bi-polar RF electrodes, and a “channeling” disposed on the strip between the bi-polar electrodes to direct the flow of RF current therebetween. The channeling electrode is not directly coupled to the RF power source, but only indirectly through the tissue in contact with the channeling electrode. The apparatus enables low RF power levels (e.g., 0.5 watts to 25 watts) to be applied over time intervals of 5 seconds to 180 seconds to attain low-rate collagen shrinkage by directing or focusing the path of the RF current.
Abstract: A multiple band sizing and repairing device is provided with a base and a plurality of blocks rising from the base for receiving and securing a watch band along its edge. The blocks are separated by varying distances from each other to form channels of varying widths therebetween to accommodate watch bands of varying thickness. A pair of shoulders extend from one side of the base and are separated from each other to form a gap therebetween. A passageway in each shoulder permits a pair of bolts to extend through the pair of shoulders. Upon rotation of the bolts, a vice is formed wherein the passageways guide movement of the bolts therethrough in applying pressure to a pin of the band. A hollow tip is provided at the inner end of at least one bolt so that the pin can be receivingly seated and held by the tip. Each block also includes a receptor for seating a bit therein.
