Abstract: A mounting/demounting tool for mounting/demounting a tire with respect to the rim of a vehicle wheel, comprising a tool body defining a first end of the tool, an extension from the tool body defining a second end of the tool, and a hook arranged at the extension in the vicinity of the second end. The hook has an inner surface section for gripping and guiding a tire bead during tire demounting, and a first outer surface section for guiding a tire bead during tire mounting. A protrusion extends from between the first outer surface section and a second outer surface section of the hook to the second end.
Abstract: A grill grate lifting tool that engages the grill at three or more points. The grill lifter hooks between the tines of the grill grate at the rim and/or to a handle of the grill grate. The grill grate lifting tool includes a handle attached to three or more legs, which is generally central above the center of mass of the grill grate to provide a stable lifting point with or without food on the grate.
Abstract: A cooking tool assembly (10) is disclosed which includes a first cooking tool comprising tong means (14) having gripping means (17,18) located at one end of respective arms (15,16) the arms being distally pivotted at the other end, and second cooking tool (spatula (11) in this embodiment ) associated with the tong means (14) proximate the other ends of the arms (15, 16) whereby the assembly constitutes a triple-ended reversible bi-functional cooking tool.
Abstract: A tool to be used for controlling campfires. This tool is has a bright or reflective mainshaft to place users on notice of its location, and its potentially dangerous temperature. This tool has a hook portion to accommodate standard sizes of camp fire wood for the control thereof. This tool also has a straight arm that extends beyond the hook portion to control the fire while poking at it, with no interference from the hook portion. The handle also has a directional compass. Further, a thermal barrier collar may be disposed adjacent the mainshaft or handle.
Abstract: A tool includes an elongate body having a handle unit on one end and a grill contacting unit on another end. The grill contacting unit includes diverging tines with each having a beveled edge that may be scraped against a bar of a grill to clean that grill. A hollow tube is positioned in the grill contacting unit to contain a match that is used to ignite charcoals.
Abstract: A compound hand held tool for use with the round pot belly type of barbeque grills that have circular grills made of heavy wire. While the primary purpose of the invention is to operate as a handle for such grills, it is also designed to be used to scrape grills to help clean them, to open and close hot air vents normally found on barbeque grills and to manipulate hot charcoal briquets. In the preferred embodiment this tool is made by machine working stainless steel and is provided with a heat resistant handle.
Abstract: A multi-purpose tool, for use with a barbecue grill, having a hook at one end thereof and a relatively thin curved and tapered blade at the other end thereof which tool can be used for many different functions such as lifting and repositioning a grill cover and/or grate, adjusting the position of an air vent, holding and positioning a charcoal briquet, cleaning the bars of the grill grate by scraping, and moving ashes toward an opening in the kettle portion of the grill.
