Abstract: An anti-theft device for vehicle steering mechanism, such as a steering shaft or a transmission rod, having a rotatable shaft. The anti-theft device has a fixing member fixed on the vehicle body, a connecting member joined with a steering handle, a locking member controlled by code device, a movable member provided on the rotatable shaft, for moving along the shaft but not rotatable around it. The movable member can move between a first position and a second position under the control of the locking member. When in the first position the movable member is engaged with the fixing member while disengaged with the connecting member so that the shaft can not rotate. When in the second position, the movable member is engaged with the connecting member while disengaged with the fixing member so that the shaft can rotate. The anti-theft device according to the invention has double functions of disconnecting transmission of steering force as well as locking the shaft.
Abstract: A gear shift lock for locking a gear shiftlever of an automobile with a manual transmission is disclosed. The lock has a ring with a through hole defined therethrough and a tube with a protrusion formed to be alternatively received in the through hole. When the protrusion is received in the through hole, the gear shiftlever is not able to be moved. When the protrusion of the tube is away from the through hole of the ring, the gear shiftlever is in an unlocked state and able to move freely.
Abstract: A manual shift lever locking structure including a knob moveable up and down relative to an axle of the shift lever; a lock in the knob for locking and fixing the knob and the axle of the shift lever relative to each other; and a restraining element provided under the knob for restraining the lower end of the knob wherein the axle of the shift lever are restrained from movement.
Abstract: Described is a security device for the lock on a switchgear-cabinet door, a machine housing or similar equipment, the device consisting of a first element (54) attached e.g. to the door (12) and a second element (44) attached e.g. to the door frame or machine-housing frame (24), the two elements (54, 44) being designed so that one can be inserted in the other and be held in this position under the control of an electrical signal, corresponding, for example, to the presence or absence of an operating signal. The invention calls, in the case of a door or machine-housing panel (12), for e.g. one element (54) to be attached to the handle (26) of a turning-handle lock (14) mounted on the door or housing panel and for the other element (44) to be attached in such a way to the door frame or housing frame (24) that this other element (44) projects out into the vicinity of the lock handle when the door is closed or the housing in place and the lock handle turned into the "locked" position.
Abstract: An auto-transmission shift lever locking structure for an automobile is disclosed. The locking structure includes a base member mounted to a free end of the shift lever and a cover member secured to the base member, defining therebetween a space for disposing therein a locking member and a U-shaped hook member. The base member is provided with a concave slot thereon. The cover member is provided with a first channel and a second channel. A locking driver has a driving rod rotatable by a key for locking or unlocking the locking device. The locking driver is mounted into the first channel of the cover member, used to operate the driving member and further control the U-shaped hook member. A shift enabling button with a spring is inserted into the second channel of the cover member to perform shifting of the transmission system when the locking structure is at unlocked position.
