The receiver lock shields a securing mechanism of the fifth wheel hitch. The receiver lock connects with a base frame of the fifth wheel hitch through the lock engagement channel. The first sleeve and the second sleeve uphold the receiver lock against the lock engagement channel. A retractable locking bolt and a locking assembly are connected to each other with the key. The retractable locking bolt and the locking assembly remain stationary as the retractable locking bolt includes a first tubular body and a first stopper, and the locking assembly includes a second tubular body and a second stopper.

The guard includes a face plate dimensioned for covering the front of the coin box frame. The face plate has one or more flanges on the sides thereof for engaging a portion of the sides of the front of the coin box frame. One of the sides of the coin box frame has a frame hole therethrough. The frame hole in the side is indexed with a flange hole in one of the flanges. The frame holes in the side of the coin box frame and the flange are adapted for receiving a hasp of a padlock for securing the face plate to the front of the coin box frame.

The upper edge of the finger includes a hook that mates with a matching notch in the lower edge of the plug arm. As the extractor is removed, the hooks and notch interlock, pulling the plug from the keyway.

The extractor includes a narrow finger, each edge of which include a hook that mates with a matching hook in the inner edge of each plug arm. As the extractor is removed, the hooks interlock, causing the plug to be removed.

A locking mechanism permits selective locking of the cover in a locked orientation and an unlocked orientation.

The device includes braided cables encased in neoprene rubber, and a recess is provided at the midpoint of the length of these cables. A locking housing is basically cylindrical in shape and includes a combination lock in its center section while the ends of the housing are flared angularly outward and have two through holes which serve as receptacles for the cables. Finally, ratchet-like teeth are arranged along the length of the cable, and two spring loaded engagement levers are located in the cable receptacles within the housing. The cables fit around the steering column of a vehicle with the recess placed over the key ignition. The locking housing receives the cables in the through holes and is locked in place by the combination lock.

In one embodiment the first and second shell portions of the inner cover are hingedly attached along one edge while in a further embodiment the first and second shell portions are releasably secured together in a closed position at an opposite edge by a clasp.

A locking lever is pivotably connected to the casing generally adjacent its open end to permit the lever to swing between a non-obstructing position wherein the casing may be placed on the door handle and removed from the door handle, and an obstructing position wherein the lever obstructs the open end of the casing and is engageable by the knob when the casing is on the handle for preventing the casing from being pulled off the handle.

The locking cylinder has a carbon steel crosspiece deadbolt operating within an internal "F" groove in the bolt wing and therefore cannot be defeated by common tools used to extract cylinder tools.     Abstract: A detachable guard or cover for preventing access to the keyhole of cylinder type locks in the face of a wall or locked door of a tool cabinet is combined with openings in the wall on each side of said keyhole. The guard comprises a generally U-shaped body having a pair of anchor legs joined at one end by a shouldered rivet. The free terminal end of each leg has a right angular tongue which fits into one of the openings in the wall when the guard straddles the keyhole to anchor the guard against the rear face of the wall. A locking leg journalled on the rivet fixes the guard when in closed position. The anchor legs and the locking leg have holes, which register when in closed position, to receive the shackle of a padlock. Alternatively, a lock set or cylinder lock may be built in to the anchor legs, with its pawl positioned to immobilize the locking leg until turned by a key to unlock.
