Pivoted Rigid Jaw Patents (Class 70/66)
  • Patent number: 11439210
Abstract: A modular linking system allows bags, pouches, and other items to be connected together quickly and securely while providing the ability to remotely disconnect the two items. The modular linking system includes a post assembly and a receiver assembly, each of which includes a geared component to permit variously angled, non-rotational engagement therebetween. The receiver assembly includes a locking member that is resiliently moveable to an unlocked position to permit disengagement between the post assembly and the receiver assembly. The locking member includes two arms that are positioned in a slide lockup channel of the post assembly in the locked configuration, where the arms move out of engagement with the slide lockup channel in the unlocked configuration.

  • Patent number: 9435139
Abstract: A lock mechanism includes a driving arm having an arm portion and a fixing portion and a lock rod having first and second ends and a pivot portion. The pivot portion is pivoted to one of a cover and a casing. The fixing portion is disposed on the one of the cover and the casing so as to make a free end of the arm portion interfere with an interference portion of the lock rod. The arm portion swings to a first position or a second position when receiving force. When the first end or the second end is pressed, the interference portion drives the free end to make the arm portion swing to the first or second position, so as to make the lock rod move to a locking position for fixing the cover on the casing or a releasing position for releasing the cover from the casing.

  • Patent number: 8196442
Abstract: A reusable tamper indicating bag closure for transporting most items in a bag such as documents and portable computing devices including laptops, PDAs, mobile phones, iPodsĀ® . . . etc. that would appeal to a broad spectrum of customers including the individual buyer, the business user, and the government user. The tamper-evident bag closure is defined by a lid with multiple hasps and a base with knobs that attach to the bag and is secured by a locking mechanism placed through an opening on the base and inserted within an insertion aperture such that locking the lock mechanism causes the lid to slide into alignment with the base and engages the plurality of hasps with the plurality of knobs thus securing the bag. The bag closure also has several tamper indicating features including the use of tamper indicating markers, wire seals and tamper indicating labels.

  • Patent number: 6533335
Abstract: A security device for a slide fastener, including a housing adapted to be fitted to an object to which the slide fastener is attached, the housing substantially surrounding the slider of the slide fastener in its fully closed position, a closure member adapted to cooperate with the housing which, in use, covers the slider to prevent access thereto and a frangible locking element adapted to link the housing to the closure member, the locking element being resiliently yieldable and slidably insertable into the closure member but not retractable therefrom without fracturing the frangible locking element. The closure member is attached at one end to a puller and the puller is attached to the slider. In a preferred embodiment the closure member can pivot about the housing and block withdrawal of the slider from the housing in its closed position.

  • Patent number: 3961505
Abstract: In a latching device cooperable with a pair of spaced hasps, a pair of spaced latch mechanisms which are biased toward unlatching condition are held in latching condition by respective longitudinally movable control members. A manually rotatable control knob located intermediate the latch mechanisms and cooperable with the control members is movable to a release position which permits the latch mechanisms to be urged into unlatching condition, the latch mechanisms being returnable manually to latching condition. Combination locking means is provided for releasably locking the latch mechanisms in latching condition.
