Abstract: The present invention provides a buckle lock includes a lock member and a buckle base which are able to be inserted and locked to each other. The buckle base includes a lock portion and a release button, and the lock portion includes at least one locking mechanism. It is characterized in that when the locking mechanism is in a locked state, the lock member can still be inserted into the buckle base and the lock connection is completed immediately after completing the locking action.

Abstract: A strip passing through the object stored in the body, a retaining device for retaining the strip and an actuator with a locking area matching a locking area of one end of the strip. When the actuator is in a locking position, the end of the strip is coupled to the retaining device and when the actuator is in an unlocking position, the end of the strip can be decoupled from the retaining device. The locking area of the actuator has a protrusion and the locking area of the end of the elongated member has a recess for receiving the protrusion. Locking means or mechanisms may be provided for retaining the actuator at least in a locking position.

Abstract: A reusable tamper indicating bag closure for transporting most items in a bag such as documents and portable computing devices including laptops, PDAs, mobile phones, iPods® . . . etc. that would appeal to a broad spectrum of customers including the individual buyer, the business user, and the government user. The tamper-evident bag closure is defined by a lid with multiple hasps and a base with knobs that attach to the bag and is secured by a locking mechanism placed through an opening on the base and inserted within an insertion aperture such that locking the lock mechanism causes the lid to slide into alignment with the base and engages the plurality of hasps with the plurality of knobs thus securing the bag. The bag closure also has several tamper indicating features including the use of tamper indicating markers, wire seals and tamper indicating labels.

Abstract: An anti-theft device in the form of a cage created from high security steel cable for use with a motorcycle helmet to secure the helmet to a motorcycle in order to prevent the helmet from being stolen when the helmet is not in use. The cage opens via a draw string type opening to capture the helmet therein and closes to prevent the helmet from being removed from the cage. A closure cable forms the draw string type closure for the cage and has a closure cable loop at each of its free ends so that the closure cable can be wrapped around the motorcycle and the ends secured together with a standard lock to secure the device and the captured helmet to the motorcycle. The device can be folded to store in a small storage space when not in use and the cable may be plastic coated or uncoated.

Abstract: A locking medicine bag is disclosed that includes a casing having an exterior surface and an interior surface. There is a zipper disposed on at least one side of the casing having a zipper slider connected to first and second half zipper tracks. A zipper handle is connected to the zipper slider, and the zipper handle includes a hook member extending from one side of the zipper handle. The zipper handle and hook member are a single molded piece. Further, there is a combination lock secured along one side of the casing. The combination lock includes an exterior plate having a slot that exposes a latch member. The slot is sized to receive the hook member of the zipper handle, and the hook member engages the latch member in a locked configuration.

Abstract: In order to determine an optimized upshift point, it is proposed that a control circuit, on the basis of a current engine operating point (TQCUR;N) calculates a new engine operating point (TQNEW; NNEW) produced when shifting up at approximately the same vehicle speed, wherein the current engine operating point is determined as the optimized upshift point if the calculated new engine operating point is below a preset upper torque limit (TQ_MAX_LIM) and is at the same time above a preset lower engine speed limit (N_MIN_x+1) for the higher gear.

Abstract: A theft deterrent device for use with a bag, such as a purse, backpack or computer bag, and a method of deterring theft of an unsupervised bag. The device includes a housing with a connector attached to the housing, and a locking member with a retractable cord attached to an opposing side of the housing for use in securing the bag to a stationary object. Alternatively, the device includes a connector, attachment means and at least one locking member. The device may further include a second locking member attached to the connector through a second attachment means useful for securing a zipper on a bag to prevent easy access to the contents of the bag.

A second elongated tubular body includes a closed end and an open end adapted to mate with and overlap the open end of the first tubular body to define an enclosed tubular body. A keyway extends diametrically through the overlapped open ends of the first and second bodies of the enclosed tubular body. A pin extends through the keyway to secure the first body to the second body. The pin has a first end and a second end. The first end thereof is attached to the first body and the second end thereof is adapted to be removably secured to a lock to thereby prevent removal of the pin from the keyway.

Abstract: A locking mechanism to secure both a zipper used to seal an opening of a bag in a closed configuration and a cable integrated into the bag to secure the bag to an object is disclosed. The locking mechanism may include a pin housing to receive a pin secured to an end of the cable, a thumb tab to secure a zipper head thereto, and a lock to lock the thumb tab and the pin housing in a secure configuration. The locking mechanism may provide a single control to conveniently release both the zipper and the cable. The lock may disengage the thumb tab and the thumb tab may disengage the pin housing. The lock may disengage the thumb tab or the pin housing based on the way the lock is unlocked. The bag may be made of a material that is resistant to cutting and gouging.

Abstract: A bag comprising a lockable pouch and a lockable handle is disclosed. The bag comprises a locking mechanism that secures the contents of the bag by securing a sliding fastener in place. In one embodiment, the handle and sliding fastener are both secured via a common key-operated mechanism. A handle that is removal at one end allows the handle to be placed around a stationary object as to secure the bag to that object while unattended. A single control is provided conveniently to release both the sliding fastener and the handle. The handle is comprised of a flexible yet strong material, such as a metal cable.

Abstract: A golf bag cover for theft prevention of golf equipment. What is described is a golf bag cover comprising three layers. The first and innermost layer being one which is soft and non-abrasive toward ones golf clubs and equipment. The second and middle layer being Aramid Fiber or Kevlar® presenting as highly cut resistant. The third and outer most layer being a tough abrasion and water resistant fiber similar to most current golf bag construction. The said cover having a zipper along the midline, allowing opening and closing of the cover for ease of access to ones golf equipment while the cover remains affixed to ones golf bag. The cover having a hem, it too comprising all three layers of fabrics as fore mentioned. The hem having along its length a few openings strategically located. The hem and its openings allowing the passage of a cable within the said hem. The said hem and its openings allow the cable to pass under portions of the golf bag for anchorage to the golf bag.

Abstract: A road saddlebag universal, self-aligning locking latch and receptacle assembly mechanism for a semi-rigid saddlebag assembly for a variety of road bike, motorcycle styles. It provides a toothed pawl, lock and receiver, self-aligning latch and keyed lock mechanism to provide secure, tamper proof locking functionality to the semi-rigid saddlebag high security motorcycle and rider gear stowage. Abstract: A golf club securing assembly includes a golf bag and an elongated support mounted therein. An elongated rod is mounted in and orientated parallel to a longitudinal axis of the support. The rod is slidable with respect to the support and is selectively positioned in a first position adjacent to a first end of the support or in a second position spaced from the first end of the support. Each of a plurality of couplers is configured to releasably secure a golf club adjacent to the support. Each of the couplers includes a first arm attached to the support and a second arm is attached to the rod. A driving assembly moves the first arms with respect to an associated one of the second arms into a closed position or an open position. The couplers may be used to secure a golf club to the support.

Abstract: A valuable securing tote bag assembly and method includes a housing that has a bottom wall and a peripheral wall that is attached to and extends upwardly from the bottom wall. Each of the bottom and peripheral walls is flexible. The peripheral wall has an upper edge that forms a plurality of outer flaps. An inner flap is attached to an inner surface of the peripheral wall and divides the housing into an upper portion and a lower portion. A fastener is removably extendable through the outer flaps so that the outer flaps are secured together to define a closed position of the housing. The lower portion of the housing is filled with sand and valuables are positioned in the upper portion of the housing. The outer flaps are then secured together with the fastener.

The safety pin housing pivotally receives a pin that pivots between an open position and a closed position. When the chain is not in use, it is stored within a cylindrical chain storage container that is threadedly received upon the end of the barrel-type combination lock.
