Abstract: A bag defining an interior space and an opening. The bag includes a closing member which is connected to the body. The closing member is movable between a first position, which allows access to the interior space of the body through the opening, and a second position which prevents access to the interior space of the body through the opening. The bag includes a handle and a lockable member connected to the body. The handle includes at least one removable end. The lockable member is adapted to secure and lock the closing member and the removable end of the handle to the body when the closing member is moved to the second position to protect the bag and the items contained in the bag from being taken.

Abstract: An anti-theft device for a computer device, including a main body having at least one protrusion portion which protrudes from the computer device when the body is connected to the computer device, an acceleration sensor provided in the main body and configured to detect impact, a detection processing unit positioned in the main body and configured to output a signal based on the impact detected by the acceleration sensor, a first memory unit including a driver program which facilitates communication between the detection processing unit and the personal computer, a program transfer unit which temporarily installs the driver program in the computer device, a connector configured to attach the body to the computer device and facilitate electrical connection between the computer device and detection processing unit, and an indicator configured to provide indication according to the signal.
Abstract: A theftproof lock device for a suitcase includes a housing, and a closure plate mounted on an opened side of the housing, and further includes multiple number wheel sets, two opposite press members, a drive plate, a slide, and a circuit board each mounted between the housing and the closure plate. Thus, the number wheel of the number wheel set for controlling the alarm may be rotated to an erroneous position, so as to start the alarm easily, thereby providing a theftproof effect. In addition, the number wheel of the number wheel set for controlling the alarm may be rotated to a correct position, thereby closing the alarm.
Abstract: A closing assembly for bags, suitcases and similar, comprises at least one pair of catch means which are associated with a first half-shell of a bag, suitcase or similar and are capable of providing a releasable engagement with a corresponding pair of counter-catch means associated with a second half-shell of the bag, suitcase or similar for closing it. There are provided jointly activatable inhibition means for inhibiting the opening of the bag, suitcase or similar, operationally connected to the at least one pair of catch means and jointly activatable to block the release of the engagement with the pair of counter-catch means.
Abstract: The invention relates to a carrying case with a theft prevention clamp. It is especially designed for laptop computers left in public places, but may also be used to prevent other items from being stolen. The clamp is designed to removably fasten the carrying case to a table, but may also be used on shelves or other objects with similarly shaped surfaces. The clamp has a flexible portion and a rigid portion. The carrying case has an upper portion and a lower portion, which are pivotally connected. There is a lock for securing the upper portion to the lower portion when they are in a closed position. A keyhole switch activates a battery-powered electric motor to extend the clamp when a key is inserted, if the key is turned clockwise, or to retract the clamp, if the key is turned counterclockwise. Once the clamp is extended, it and the lower portion of the carrying case can be inserted around a table or other object with similar surfaces.
Abstract: A carrying case for a lap-top model of a personal computer, a portable word processor or the like comprises a generally box-like casing accommodating various electric components therein and having a display panel assembly generally hingedly supported for movement in a direction towards and away from the casing, a foldable handle assembly supported for pivotal movement between concealed and projected positions, and at least one lock mechanism operable to lock the panel assembly in a closed position to the canister. The lock mechanism comprises an engagement member secured to the panel assembly and a releaseable one-piece member including a release button and a pawl member engageable with the engagement member. All necessary support elements to which the handle assembly is fitted are integrally formed with a bottom wall of the casing.
Abstract: Lock for bags or the like, comprising a first part (7, 10) affixed to the bag (F) and a second part (1) which is associated with a closure flap (P) to be secured to the bag (F) by means of the lock. The second part is in the form of a slot (1) close to the edge of the closure flap (P), and the first part comprises a supporting platelet (7) attached to the bag (F) and carrying a rotatable locking barrel (13) which projects from the front side of the supporting platelet (7) and is formed with at least one lateral projection (14, 144) at its free end (113). To the end (107) of the supporting platelet (7), which is turned toward the closure flap (P), is hinged a latch wing (10) formed with a circular opening (11) of a diameter which corresponds to the diameter of the free end (113) of the locking barrel (13), which opening (11) has one or more recesses (12, 12' ) mating with the lateral projections (14, 14') in the locking barrel.
Abstract: A doubler channel is provided for the main top wall support frame in a carrying case. The doubler channel extends vertically a substantial distance for increasing the beam strength of the top walls of the carrying case. A latch mechanism is proivided wholly outside of the support frame of the top wall of the carrying case. The support frame and doubler channel are all easily assembled without the need for screws or nuts and bolts. The latch mechanism conceals and anchors the ends of the doubler channel.
Abstract: Latching system hardware for luggage articles such as attache cases and the like includes an elongated latch console for attachment interiorly to one section of the article, an actuator assembly for manually operating the console latches, and a lock assembly for selectively locking the latches.
