Abstract: Embodiments of a proxy device, a system that includes the proxy device, a process, and a computer-program product (i.e., software) for use with the proxy device are described. This proxy device may be used to restrict access to account information during communication between a financial institution and a software engineer, such as a third-party software developer. In particular, the proxy device, which is an intermediary between the financial institution and the software engineer, may replace actual account information with dummy or encoded account information during communication from the financial institution to the software engineer. Similarly, the proxy device may replace the dummy or encoded account information with the actual account information during communication from the software engineer to the financial institution. In this way, the proxy device may facilitate software development while maintaining security of the actual account information.

Abstract: A new range of ready to use home baking products, measured and proportioned, is provided for selection of the required ingredients for the type of cake required and bake. The general idea is that home bakers, without any special baking experience, knowledge or commercial baking background can bake professional tasting cake. The range contains unique concepts which are embodied in the kiosk and associated displays, which include pour and bake batter, dry cake mixes, Danish pastry dough, filling, toppings, icing, fondant and all the other typical ingredients necessary needed and involved in home cake baking, similar to the range of fresh baked commercial available goods. Abstract: A method of authenticating a payment terminal, involves the terminal generating a terminal activation request from a private encryption key and from at least one terminal credential that is uniquely associated with the terminal. The terminal activation request includes a public encryption key. The public encryption key and the private encryption key comprise an asymmetric encryption key pair. The terminal transmits the terminal activation request to a certificate server, and receives an activation response from the certificate server in response. The activation response includes a digital authentication certificate that includes the public encryption key. The terminal authenticates to a computer server, that is distinct from the certificate server, using the digital authentication certificate.

Abstract: A home beverage dispensing device for dispensing servings of a beverage, having a vessel for holding a volume of liquid. This vessel may be equipped with a refrigeration unit, or may be comprised of a removable pitcher that may be put in an external refrigerator. This invention is equipped with a radio communications controller to provide for the ability to communicate over radio frequencies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A special disposable beverage cartridge or beverage pouch fits into the holder. This cartridge or pouch may have pressure rupturable seals or diaphragms and contain beverage concentrate. The mixing structure also receives the optionally chilled liquid from vessel for holding a volume of liquid, and ensures that the concentrate mixes with the liquid without contacting the walls of the mixing structure.

Abstract: An automated retail machine controlled by a server which operates by receiving an order for at least one item from a processor, and generating a unique identifier corresponding to the order. The unique identifier serves to both identify and retrieve the order, and also process payment method. The server then transmits the unique identifier back to the processor, which is then sent back to the server from a terminal once the unique identifier is processed and activated therein. The order is then sent to the terminal for vending, in which case, the at least one item is automatically vended. The unique identifier is then cancelled.

Abstract: An automated prescription dispensing system and method for facilitating dispensing of medications from an automated prescription dispenser designed for in-home use. The dispenser may connect to a remote patient monitoring center for monitoring of the patient's dispenser use and adherence to a medication regime. The dispenser may further connect to a remote medication operations center for monitoring replenishment of the patient's medications and to a remote medical center for monitoring the patient's reaction to medications and clinical signs. A connection to a data analytics center and analytical engine facilitates communications among and between the users and/or caregivers at the remote centers. The dispenser may be loaded with a standardized cartridge that is replenished according to the patient's needs. The dispenser is further equipped with a camera that allows a caregiver at the remote patient monitoring center to view the patient while the patient uses the dispenser.

In a deactivated operating state, the control unit (16) does not trigger the invalidating unit (14) even in the presence of a manipulation attempt. Abstract: A system for locating goods stored in a storage area includes a computer, radio frequency transceivers and modular hangers. Ordered goods are placed in storage units that each have addresses at a central filling center. The filled storage units are shipped to local storage areas where they are coupled to hook units to form modular hangers and stored on rails. The identifications of the goods and the electronic addresses for corresponding hangers are stored on a local computer database. When a user wants to pick up goods stored in the containers, the user inputs the identification or order information for the goods and the computer will cause the radio frequency transmitter to emit a data packet that includes a search address and illumination data. The hangers compare the search address to the electronic address. If there is a match, the hanger is illuminated so the ordered goods can be found.
