  • Patent number: 11125909
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention help in the processing and interpretation of seismic survey data, by correlating or otherwise comparing or associating seismic data obtained from a seismic survey with flow information obtained from a well or borehole in the surveyed area. In particular, embodiments of the present invention allow for flow data representing a flow profile along a well that is being monitored by a distributed acoustic sensor to be determined, such that regions of higher flow in the well can be determined. For example, in the production zone the well will be perforated to allow oil to enter the well, but it has not previously been possible to determine accurately where in the production zone the oil is entering the well. However, by determining a flow rate profile along the well using the DAS then this provides information as to where in the perforated production zone oil is entering the well, and hence the location of oil bearing sands.

Abstract: A system and method for communicatively pairing a mobile communication device and a furniture item, such as a desk or table, includes placing the mobile communication device in a communication zone associated with the furniture item. In response to placing the mobile communication device in the communication zone, a communication link is established between the mobile communication device and a communication circuit of the furniture item. A user interface is then displayed on a display screen of the mobile communication device to show a preset height, such as a standing or sitting height, for the furniture device. When a user selects the preset height, an actuator adjusts the furniture item to the specific height. The communication circuit may use any available wireless communication protocol or circuit.

Abstract: A method for registering a first electronic entity of a user, which is capable of generating event data. The method includes: after a first main service platform dedicated to the first electronic entity receives a first registration request coming from a user terminal and including a user identifier for identifying/authenticating the user by a secondary service platform, the secondary service platform receives a second registration request including the user identifier from the first main service platform. Upon positive identification/authentication of the user by the secondary service platform, the first electronic entity is registered in a database of the secondary service platform, in association with an account of the user. Once the secondary service platform receives event data from the first electronic entity, the event data is made available to the second main service platform.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for emulating an environment created by the outputs of a plurality of devices. The system receives device control data for a device in a first venue. The control of the outputs of said devices according to the device control data creates an environment within the first venue. The system retrieves profile data for devices within a second venue. The system associates a device in the second venue with a device from the first venue, both devices having a similar output type. The system then generates control information adapted from the associated device of the first venue for the device in the second venue. The system controls the outputs of each device in the second plurality of devices according to the generated control information to emulate the environment within the first venue in the second venue.

  • Patent number: 10922716
Abstract: This disclosure generally covers systems and methods that identify objects within an augmented reality (“AR”) scene (received from a user) to gather information concerning the user's physical environment or physical features and to recommend products. In particular, the disclosed systems and methods detect characteristics of multiple objects shown within an AR scene received from a user and, based on the detected characteristics, select products to recommend to the user. When analyzing characteristics, in some embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods determine visual characteristics associated with the real object or virtual object, such as color or location of an object. The disclosed systems and methods, in some embodiments, then select an endorsed product to recommend for use with the real object—based on the determined visual characteristics—and create a product recommendation that recommends the endorsed product.

Abstract: In some implementations, a system can trigger an action to be performed at a property based on satisfaction of criteria related to location information and a connection status of a mobile computing device. Location information of the mobile computing device relative of a pre-defined geographic region including at least a portion of the property is initially obtained. A connection status of the mobile computing device for a short range wireless connection with a communication-enabled device within the property is then obtained. Criteria for an action at the property is then determined to be satisfied by the location information and the connection status of the mobile computing device. The action is finally triggered to be performed at the property in response to determining that criteria for the action is satisfied.
