  • Patent number: 11663779
Abstract: In various embodiments, a stylization subsystem automatically modifies a three-dimensional (3D) object design. In operation, the stylization subsystem generates a simplified quad mesh based on an input triangle mesh that represents the 3D object design, a preferred orientation associated with at least a portion of the input triangle mesh, and mesh complexity constraint(s). The stylization subsystem then converts the simplified quad mesh to a simplified T-spline. Subsequently, the stylization subsystem creases one or more of edges included in the simplified T-spline to generate a stylized T-spline. Notably, the stylized T-spline represents a stylized design that is more convergent with the preferred orientation(s) than the 3D object design. Advantageously, relative to prior art approaches, the stylization subsystem can more efficiently modify the 3D object design to improve overall aesthetics and manufacturability.

Abstract: Examples described herein include systems and methods which include wireless devices and systems with examples of mixing input data with coefficient data. For example, a computing system with processing units may mix the input data for a transmission in a radio frequency (RF) wireless domain with the coefficient data to generate output data that is representative of the transmission being processed according to the wireless protocol in the RF wireless domain. A computing device may be trained to generate coefficient data based on the operations of a wireless transceiver such that mixing input data using the coefficient data generates an approximation of the output data, as if it were processed by the wireless transceiver. Examples of systems and methods described herein may facilitate the processing of data for 5G wireless communications in a power-efficient and time-efficient manner.

Abstract: Systems, computer-implemented methods, and computer program products that can facilitate quantum circuit topology selection based on frequency collisions between qubits, are described. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise a simulation component that simulates operation of qubits in a subgraph topology of a graph representing a topology of a quantum circuit to determine a quantity of frequency collisions between the qubits. The computer executable components can further comprise a selection component that selects a quantum circuit topology based on the quantity of frequency collisions between the qubits.

Abstract: A temperature characteristic evaluation method includes the steps of acquiring temperature data, ambient temperature data, and internal temperature data are acquired. By changing at least one of the set temperature and the ambient temperature, a plurality of combinations of the set temperature data, the ambient temperature data, and the internal temperature data is obtained as a plurality of temperature data groups. A difference between the ambient temperature data and the set temperature data in each of the plurality of temperature data groups is calculated as the first difference. A difference between the internal temperature data and the set temperature data is calculated as the second difference. The combinations of the first and second differences are obtained as difference groups. The plurality of difference groups for the plurality of temperature data groups is approximated in a linear function, and the linear function is obtained as a temperature function.

Abstract: A method for assessing fatigue damage and a fatigue life based on a crystal plastic welding process model. According to the new method, consideration is given to the effects of the crystal slip system and the polycrystal plastic strain on the welding process performance of the material. The effect of microscopic characterizations of materials on the welding process performance, as well as on the fatigue damage and life of welded joints, can be studied from the mesoscopic point of view. The relationship between the welding process and the evolution of the material performance can be determined by the macro-mesoscopic coupling calculation model to further determine the effect and degree of welding processes on the fatigue damage and life of materials.
