  • Patent number: 12021857
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to voice biometric authentication in a virtual assistant. In some embodiments, a computing platform may receive, from a user device, an audio file comprising a voice command to access information related to a user account. The computing platform may retrieve one or more voice biometric signatures from a voice biometric database associated with the user account, and apply a voice biometric matching algorithm to compare the voice command of the audio file to the one or more voice biometric signatures to determine if a match exists between the voice command and one of the one or more voice biometric signatures. In response to determining that a match exists, the computing platform may retrieve information associated with the user account, and then send, via the communication interface, the information associated with the user account to the user device.

  • Patent number: 11961523
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for optimizing and securing an enterprise voice service accessed by an external voice assistant device. An enterprise voice assistant installed on a client device acts as an enterprise voice service for an external voice assistant device. The enterprise voice assistant receives a voice query from the external voice assistant device. The voice query is processed using a machine learning model to extract an intent and at least one slot. The extracted intent and at least one slot are used to determine whether a response to the voice query can be generated using local enterprise data that was previously received and stored by the client device from a management server. The response is generated based on the determination by using the local enterprise data or by sending the extracted intent and at least one slot to and receiving the response from the management server.

  • Patent number: 11544358
Abstract: Bayesian continuous user authentication can be obtained by receiving observed behavior data that collectively characterizes interaction of an active user with at least one computing device or software application. A sequence of events within the observed behavior data can be identified and scored using a universal background model that generates first scores that characterize an extent to which each event or history of events is anomalous for a particular population of users. Further, the events are scored using a user model that generates second scores that characterizes an extent to which each event or history of events is anomalous for the particular user who owns the account. The first scores and the second scores are smoothed using a smoothing function. A probability that the active user is the account owner associated with the user model is determined based on the smoothed first scores and the smoothed second scores.

Optionally, the computing device may be further operative to determine if the user is authorized to read the first text. Further optionally, the computing device may be operative to reveal obfuscated parts of the first text in response to determining that the user is authorized to read the first text, or to discontinue displaying the first text, or to obfuscate at least part of the first text, in response to determining that the user is not authorized to read the first text.

Abstract: Detecting and monitoring legacy devices (such as appliances in a home) using audio sensing is disclosed. Methods and systems are provided for transforming audio data captured by the sensor to afford privacy when speech is overheard by the sensor. Because these transformations may negatively impact the ability to detect/monitor devices, an effective transformation is determined based on both privacy and detectability concerns.

Abstract: Detecting a replay attack on a voice biometrics system comprises receiving a speech signal; forming an autocorrelation of at least a part of the speech signal; and identifying that the received speech signal may result from a replay attack based on said autocorrelation. Identifying that the received speech signal may result from a replay attack may be achieved by: comparing the autocorrelation with a reference value; and identifying that the received speech signal may result from a replay attack based on a result of the comparison of the autocorrelation with the reference value, or by: supplying the autocorrelation to a neural network trained to distinguish autocorrelations formed from speech signals resulting from replay attacks from autocorrelations formed from speech signals not resulting from replay attacks.

  • Patent number: 10972458
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of systems, methods, and products comprises a server, which receives a request from a user's electronic client device. The server determines the authentication level of the request. If the authentication level satisfies a threshold, the server may route the request to a call center computing system; otherwise, the server authenticates the user based on the authentication level. Specifically, the server presents one or more security challenges corresponding to the authentication level and authorizes the user if the user correctly answers the security challenges. The server may receive a second request from the same user who has been authorized for the first authentication level. If the authentication level of the second request is higher, the server may present more security challenges on the second level; if the authentication level is lower, the server directly allows the access of the requested services.

Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer readable media, network traffic management apparatuses, and network traffic management systems that obtain a dictionary comprising a plurality of credentials and populate a probabilistic data structure based on the dictionary. A login request is received from a client and one or more credentials are extracted from the received login request. A determination of when the probabilistic data structure indicates that the extracted credentials are included in the dictionary is made. A mitigation action is initiated with respect to the client, when the determination indicates that the probabilistic data structure indicates that the extracted credentials are included in the dictionary. This technology more efficiently and effectively detects and mitigates brute force credential stuffing attacks advantageously using a reduced amount of resources.

Abstract: Currently available weather forecasts, which include a specific snowfall accumulation or range, do not convey the probability that snowfall will be within the forecasted snowfall accumulation range, probabilities of other snowfall accumulation amounts, or a forecaster's level of confidence. A snowfall probability distribution forecasting system is disclosed that uses a rules-based process to leverage third party weather forecasts, including members of ensemble forecasts, to generate snowfall probability distributions forecasting the most likely snowfall accumulation range, the probability that snowfall accumulation will be within the most likely snowfall accumulation range, and probabilities that snowfall accumulation will be outside of the most likely snowfall accumulation range. To ensure consistency with the deterministic forecast, the snowfall probability distribution may be shifted based on a deterministic forecast.
