The payment card transaction data is analyzed to group cardholders into one demographic clusters and to determine an estimated benefit value for each of the demographic clusters. Individualized payment card benefit options are presented to an individual cardholder based on the individual cardholder's payment card transactions and the determined estimated benefit value for a corresponding one of the plurality of demographic clusters.

The request may originate from a client device using request instructions provided from one or more third-party servers. Abstract: A server communicates with a mobile device to deliver a mobile application to the mobile device. Software instructions of the mobile application are executed on the mobile device. Then, responsive to operations of the software instructions on the mobile device, the mobile device sends messages comprising location data such as GPS data or other location point attributes. The server receives the location data describing the location of the mobile device and performs logic and computations to determine predicted location points, which are in turn used to determine predicted regions or areas surrounding the predicted location points. The server selects geo-specific notifications (e.g., advertisements, coupons, etc.) based at least in part on the predicted region, and transmits the geo-specific notifications electronically through the network to the mobile device.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for automatically suggesting members of a social media system as recipients for sharing an item of social media content. Computerized analysis of the social media content includes image analysis, audio analysis, and language analysis for classifying the content. Profiles of participants within a social media system are examined to determine candidates for sharing. A subset of participants having profiles with metadata deemed relevant to the analyzed social media content is obtained. For each participant in the subset, an interaction score is computed, indicative of the amount of interaction between the participant and the sender of the content has occurred previously. The subset is ranked based on the interaction score. Participants having an interaction score above a predetermined threshold are deemed to be candidates for sharing the item of social media content, and are presented to a user on an electronic display.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for optimizing view-through conversion rates. For example, systems and methods described herein train and utilize a machine learning model that predicts whether providing a digital impression to a particular networking system user will result in a conversion. Systems and methods described herein identify view-through conversions by generating a vector associated with the provision of a digital impression to a networking system user and receiving third-party conversion information during an attribution window. The systems and methods described herein then utilize the vector and conversion information to train the machine learning model to predict future conversions.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a communication device interface for merchant check-in and shopping notifications. A user may enter shopping preferences to a module of a communication device in order to receive notifications and alerts when items matching the shopping preferences are available with one or more merchants. A service provider may receive the shopping preferences with user attributes, such as a user location and/or account balance. The attributes may be determined using applications and/or modules of the communication device or through a check-in by the user at a location. The service provider may determine shopping notifications having purchase offers for the items from available merchants. The purchase offers may include offers to sell the items and discounts for the items. The shopping notifications may be displayed to the user using a user device interface, such as cells within an application or mobile device home screen.

The transaction processing system accesses an adjusted transaction record storing a plurality of open transactions received from the plurality of third party systems. The one or more split transactions requests are sent to a corresponding third party system for execution. The corresponding third party system executes the open transaction corresponding to each split transaction at the requested unit count of each split transaction. When the item comprises a card having a predetermined effect and continuation of exceeding the predetermined threshold level is interrupted, the number is counted as if no interruption has occurred.

For each of the candidate coupon issuing strategies, the method may further include obtaining user feature information of one or more target users in each group corresponding to the candidate coupon issuing strategy. For each of the candidate coupon issuing strategies, the method may further include predicting an ROI of the candidate coupon issuing strategy based on an RO prediction model and the corresponding user feature information.

Abstract: A system that automates the clearing and settlement of electronic coupons (E-Coupons) by leveraging existing technologies and enabling E-Coupon redemption at any merchant having electronic funds transfer (EFT) capabilities, such as credit/debit card acceptance. The system reduces opportunities for fraud, reduces or eliminates the need for manual clearinghouse counting and sorting of coupons, and provides an electronic audit trail for coupon redemption, tying a specific purchase to a specific coupon. After registering and selecting coupons, consumers then use an E-Coupon card or account access device at a merchant's point-of-sale (POS) terminal. E-Coupon values are deducted from the consumer's final amount due. Both consumer package goods manufacturers (CPGs) and merchants may be charged a fee. Expired coupons are automatically removed from the account and their value refunded to the CPGs. Reports on redeemed coupons and consumer profiles can be generated and provided to CPGs or merchants.

Abstract: This disclosure describes, in part, techniques for automated integration between services provided by a service provider. The techniques described herein employ classifiers to determine whether items offered for sale by a merchant are services or goods. A service-identification model may receive names of items as inputs, and be trained or otherwise configured to output indications of whether the names of the items correspond to services. In some examples, the names of the items which correspond to services may further be input into a duration-identification model, which is trained or otherwise configured to determine periods of time required by the merchant to perform the services. The techniques described herein may include populating user interfaces, such as a merchant website, with indications of the services, as well as periods of time to perform the services, that customers may interact with to schedule appointments with the merchant.

Abstract: An energy cost optimization system for a building includes HVAC equipment configured to operate in the building and a controller. The controller is configure to generate a cost function defining a cost of operating the HVAC equipment over an optimization period as a function of one or more electric loads for the HVAC equipment. The controller is further configured to generate participation hours. The participation hours indicate one or more hours that the HVAC equipment will participate in an economic load demand response (ELDR) program. The controller is further configured to generate an ELDR term based on the participation hours, the ELDR term indicating revenue generated by participating in the ELDR program. The controller is further configured to modify the cost function to include the ELDR term and perform an optimization using the modified cost function to determine an optimal electric load for each hour of the participation hours.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing rewards to a user are provided. Providing rewards to the user may include receiving transaction data associated with a user's purchase, determining a merchant and a category associated with the transaction data, and assigning the transaction data to a merchant icon or a badge icon in a graphical user interface. The merchant icon or the badge icon may comprise a progress bar that indicates the user's progress in reaching a milestone associated with the icon. Based on the transaction data, a number of loyalty points of a number of transaction points may be assigned to the merchant icon or the badge icon, respectively. Further, based on whether a total number of loyalty points exceeds a first threshold or a total number of transaction points exceeds a second threshold, a reward may be generated to the user when the first or second threshold is exceeded.

The method may include storing profile data, receiving location data and environmental data from a computing device associated with the stored profile data. Upon determining that the user device has entered a predefined merchant location, the method may include initiating a sequence of augmented reality modes including at least a first augmented reality mode associated with the selection of an item and a second augmented reality mode associated with the payment of the item. The user device may display virtual content in association with each mode, and upon detecting predetermined user inputs such as gestures, fixed gazes, or moving through thresholds, the system may enable the selection and payment of one or more items by sending a purchase request to a merchant terminal.

The monitor device initialized by the auxiliary controller can be controlled by the main controller and the auxiliary controller. In this system, the controller can control the monitor devices within a set range according to the different privilege/level settings, respectively. The range controlled by the controller in the same system may be divided into different grades of control, realizing the control of grading and sub-regions and reflecting grading management.

A structural recognition module analyzes the captured image to identify the 3D shape of the captured object. A color recognition module analyzes the color of the captured image to differentiate between objects that may be similar in shape. The image analysis information is sent to a server and the server selects an appropriate video file for augmented reality (AR) display on the mobile device. User selection of an operational language for the mobile device may also provided to the server. The system includes audio data files in different languages corresponding to each video AR file. The server selects the audio file corresponding to the language selection data provided by the mobile device. The language appropriate audio file is linked to the video file and the video and audio AR data are transmitted to the mobile device.

Abstract: To evaluate performance of organizational units using Human Capital Value (HCV), the input data spread across an enterprise may be received from a user. The input data includes employee data, project related data, and organizational unit data for performance evaluation. The input data is analyzed for generating HCV variables. The HCV variables are stored in a repository (108). Further, the HCV variables may be parsed to determine an optimal set of variables. Based on the parsing, an efficiency of each organizational unit is computed. The computing is based on a Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) technique. Based on the computing, the organizational units are ranked in a decreasing order of efficiency.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for generating augmented reality representations of recommended products based on style compatibility with real-world surroundings. For example, the disclosed systems can identify a real-world object within a camera feed and can utilize a 2D-3D alignment algorithm to identify a three-dimensional model that matches the real-world object. In addition, the disclosed systems can utilize a style compatibility algorithm to generate recommended products based on style compatibility in relation to the identified three-dimensional model. The disclosed systems can further utilize a color compatibility algorithm to determine product textures which are color compatible with the real-world surroundings and generate augmented reality representations of recommended products to provide as an overlay of the real-world environment of the camera feed.

A customer is assigned a discount level as part of enrollment into the discount rewards program and a bill amount is discounted based on the assigned discount level. For a next purchase transaction at the merchant establishment, it is determined whether the next purchase transaction is within a predefined time interval from the purchase transaction associated with the customer enrollment. A current discount level is determined by incrementing or decrementing the discount level based on the determination of whether the next purchase transaction is within the predefined time interval or not. A bill amount is discounted based on the current discount level and the discounted bill amount is provided to the customer to reward the customer.

The online system may compare extracted parameters to a taxonomy of categories maintained by the online system to determine a category describing the item displayed on the web page.
