Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling contacts with a client's users make use of segment-based contact limits. A contact limit sets a maximum number of contacts that a client can have with a user within a predetermined time window. A segment-based contact limit only applies the contact limit to a subset of all the client's users. The type of contact being limited could include messages that are sent to the user or advertising or sales campaigns that are conducted for the user. A segment is a subset of all of the client's users, and a segment may be defined based on one or more filters.

  • Patent number: 10970313
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a communication device includes one or more processors. The processors decide on a first-type parameter representing a conversion operation for converting input data into first-type conversion data. The processors calculate first-type predicted distributions based on second-type parameters, each representing one of the plurality of clusters. The processors update the first-type parameter and the second-type parameters so as to achieve optimization of first-type differences representing differences between the first-type predicted distributions and a target distribution, and second-type differences representing differences between the first-type predicted distributions and second-type predicted distributions that indicate probability at which second-type converted data. The second-type converted data is obtained by converting data, which is formed by augmentation of the input data, using the first-type parameter belongs to the clusters.

Abstract: An intent score is assigned to users who are viewing online ads. Users define a bid-range and adjust pricing within the range at an individual user level, based on an intent score that is derived from user activity. An advertiser typically defines a bid range. If the user then interacts with ads or visits the advertiser's website then, based on user actions, the bid price is revised. This process of bid price revision is continuous and results in increased or decreased bid prices for individual users. All participating users and their intent scores are periodically uploaded to RTB platforms where they are used to purchase ad impressions. This increases the likelihood of winning bids for more valuable users with better precision without raising bid prices for entire segments of users.

Abstract: Single-click delta analysis is disclosed. A user query of status information collected from one or more monitored devices is received from a user. In response to receiving an indication from the user to determine a variance between different portions of the collected status information, a target query and a baseline query are generated using the user query. The generated target query and the generated baseline query are performed, respectively, against data in a data store including the status information collected from the one or more monitored devices. A target set of status information results and a baseline set of status information results are obtained in response to performing, respectively, the generated target query and the generated baseline query. The obtained target and baseline sets of results are combined. Output indicative of a variance between the target and baseline sets of status information results is provided based at least in part on the combining.
