Abstract: A method for certifying a genuine product and generating a music chart performed by a server may include: receiving a genuine product certification request from a terminal of a buyer who purchased an album; transmitting genuine product certification content for a genuine product certification procedure to the terminal in response to the genuine product certification request; receiving certification information input to the genuine product certification content; comparing the received certification information with information stored in a database built in advance to perform genuine product certification for the album; matching the certification information with the album when the album is certified as a genuine product, storing the matched certification information in the database, and transmitting a certification completion message to the terminal; and generating the music chart based on the certification information.

Abstract: A customer relationship management system wirelessly detects presence and identity of a customer when the customer enters a business establishment. The system captures a visit pattern of the customer based on communication from the wireless device. A relevant marketing message for the customer is determined based on the customer's presence, visit pattern, identity, and location. The marketing message is delivered directly to a wireless device carried to the customer upon a subsequent entry of the customer to the business establishment. Responses of the customer (e.g., purchasing patterns, etc.) are stored for subsequent use in presenting relevant offers.

Abstract: Various embodiments request discount offers on a mobile device within a store. In one embodiment, the mobile device detects it is being shaken and in response, sends a request for a discount offer to a server. The mobile device determines its location within the store. The mobile device receives a discount offer based on the location of the mobile device within the store and information associated with the mobile device. The discount offer is displayed and feedback is communicated to the server based on the detected device movement. The feedback is an indicator that indicates acceptance, rejection or a request for a different discount offer. The detected device movement include at least one of motion intensity, direction of motion and number of shakes. If the motion intensity of being shaken is greater than a predetermined threshold, an indication of objection is emitted.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in a content system supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data across platforms, which data can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods determine breaking or trending news stories from social media activity, which are then communicated to users via personalized delivery. Thus, the disclosed systems and methods leverage social data, expert knowledge and/or user feedback, which are all available on-line, to determine breaking news stories, which are then delivered to users in a personalized manner specific to each user.

Abstract: A closed loop attribution system may include a user location history storage system containing information indicative of user location history for a plurality of users based on location of a mobile device associated with a user; a user database storage system containing placement tracking information indicative of advertising content presented to the user; and a closed loop attribution processor responsive to said user location history storage system and said user database storage assessing correlations between a user's exposure and a user's location. The user database may include records indicative of user behavior and characteristics. The closed loop attribution processor may be connected to the campaign database and the campaign database may contain an indication of one or more locations of interest to an advertiser. The correlation between user exposure and a user's location may be a correlation between user exposure and the location or locations of interest.

The embedded information is extracted, and used to identify a streaming media station corresponding to the broadcast station. The hybrid media device receives and stores the network address of the corresponding streaming media station, so the next time the device is instructed to tune to the initial broadcast station, the device instead connects to the streaming station at the stored address.

Abstract: A system and an associated method for responding to a user's voice inquiry are disclosed. The system accepts the voice inquiry and obtains personal data regarding the user. The system then identifies potential subjects of interest in the voice inquiry from media content currently provided to the user through a device which has captured the voice inquiry, media content present in or capturing the user's surroundings, or media content previously provided to the user as responses to previous voice inquiries by the user. Next, the system determines at least one subject of interest based on at least one of the personal data and the user's previous voice inquiries. The system then presents a response related to the determined subject of interest to the user's voice inquiry.

Abstract: Security features a situational awareness system using location tracking information including requiring a security identifier, such as a password or a bio identifier, as a condition to providing situational awareness information. The system may also restrict situational awareness information to data pertaining to members that have creating a permission setting or responded to an “opt-in” prompt authorizing data from their profile to be included in the situational awareness information. Situational awareness information may also be denied to requesters identified as public offenders in a public offender database. Situational awareness information may also be restricted by access rules specified in a security rule base, such as rules related to enrollment and rules related to the age of the requester and the age of a demographic profile of interest identified in the situational awareness request.

In some embodiments, multiple tests may be configured to run orthogonally within user experiences without affecting the results of one another. The computing device receives an electronic image of the document, analyzes the electronic image, and determines a document type by performing an image recognition on a first portion the electronic image, comparing information extrapolated via the image recognition algorithm to a database of document types, and identifying a match between the extrapolated information a document type. The computing device applies an OCR algorithm that corresponds to the determined document type to a second portion of the electronic image, identifies items extracted from the second portion, determines that at least one identified item matches an original item entry, and marks each matching item. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for timing message notifications to be provided to mobile device users based on their respective geographic locations with respect to a targeted content area. The timing of message notifications may be controlled in order to optimize the chances of delivering targeted content to a mobile device user based on the current geographic location of the user's device relative to a targeted content area. As the particular client application may not be actively executing at a time when the user's device happen to be located within a targeted content area, a general message notification sent to the user's device, which may be displayed at any time, may increase the likelihood that the user will launch the client application when it is not already executing at the device and thereby, allow targeted content to be delivered to the user's mobile device at the appropriate time and location.

When a broadcast received at the radio receiver, it includes embedded information that can be used to identify the radio station providing the broadcast. The radio receiver transmits information associated with the streaming station to a web service, which returns an address at which the radio receiver can access the streaming station. The address of the streaming station is stored in a memory accessible to the radio receiver for later use. The next time the radio receiver is tuned to the same broadcast station, the radio receiver instead connects to the streaming station at the stored address.

Abstract: A distributed media outlet can include both a traffic and billing system, and a media delivery system that employ separate broadcast logs, or playlists. An enterprise hub can transmit broadcast instructions to the media outlet via an integrated services layer (ISL), which acts as a multidirectional gateway between the enterprise hub and the media outlet. The ISL can synchronize the separate playlists used by the traffic and billing system and the media delivery system by simultaneously injecting the broadcast instructions into both systems included in the media outlet.
