  • Patent number: 12273351
Abstract: According to some implementations, context-based information is provided. The method can establish a first context for a user to start a process of correlation of information from multiple sources. The method can then authorize the user to access information from one or more sources of information. The method can request the first information from the one or more sources of information based on the first context. Based on the first information received from the one or more sources of information, the method can revise the first context to generate a second context. The method can use the second context to correlate second information from the one or more sources of information. The method can filter the second information for the user to determine a relevant subset of information. Eventually, the method can send the relevant subset of information to a client device associated with the user.

  • Patent number: 12272462
Abstract: A risk-based patient monitoring system for critical care patients combines data from multiple sources to assess the current and the future risks to the patient, thereby enabling providers to review a current patient risk profile and to continuously track a clinical trajectory. A physiology observer module in the system utilizes multiple measurements to estimate Probability Density Functions (PDF) of a number of Internal State Variables (ISVs) that describe a components of the physiology relevant to the patient treatment and condition. A clinical trajectory interpreter module in the system utilizes the estimated PDFs of ISVs to identify under which probable patient states the patient can be currently categorized and assign a probability value that the patient will be in each of the identified states. The combination of patient states and their probabilities is defined as the clinical risk to the patient.

  • Patent number: 12239849
Abstract: It is provided a method for checking quality of a treatment plan, wherein a treatment plan specifies a distribution of radiation to thereby provide radiation to a planning target volume. The method is performed by a quality assurance device and comprises the steps of: obtaining a treatment plan and a corresponding first dose, the treatment plan having been calculated in a treatment planning system, the first dose being a predicted dose to be deposited in the patient using the treatment plan; initiating a calculation of a secondary dose, being a dose deposited by the treatment plan, using a secondary dose calculation algorithm; repeatedly calculating a confidence interval of a comparative statistical measurement by comparing the first dose and the secondary dose over a defined geometric volume; and interrupting the calculation of the secondary dose when the confidence interval is better than at least one predefined criterion.

  • Patent number: 12236501
Abstract: The present invention relates to latency compensation for image processing devices. In order to assign overlay data to frames of a raw image stream (210), past frames within a selection of frames of the raw image stream are considered, which past frames already underwent image processing. A current frame of the raw image stream (210) is compared to the past frames contained in the selection of frames, and that one of the past frames is identified that is most similar to the current frame. Overlay data from the identified past frame are chosen and assigned to the current frame. Thus, the current frame can be presented together with the assigned overlay data chosen from the most similar past frame and without the need to wait for the result of a computationally expensive and time-consuming image processing of the current frame.

  • Patent number: 12232850
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a doorway that facilitates passage from an inside to an outside, and which includes a barrier that moves between opened and closed positions based on commands sent by a computer. Sensors measure signals indicating whether a first user is on the outside, and whether a second user on the inside. The computer detects that the first user is on the outside and receives, from a device of the first user, an indication indicating the first user is healthy. The computer detects whether the second user is on the inside, and commands the barrier to move to the opened position if: (i) the second user is not on the inside, or (ii) the second user is on the inside and the computer receives, from a device of the second user, an indication indicating the second user is healthy.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for partitioning prescription transaction costs in an electronic prescription transaction by determining a credit amount to be applied to prescription transaction, based on an alternative cash price. In circumstances which an associated prescription claim is rejected or determined to be likely rejected, such as due to a requirement for prior authorization, a patient may still be motivated to purchase a prescription via a cash transaction, particularly with the credit amount applied. The prescription transaction may be reformatted to indicate a cash transaction and include the credit amount, and may exclude benefit information. The credit amount and a reformatted prescription transaction may be transmitted to the pharmacy computer or other third party computer.
