Abstract: Transaction systems and methods are described for verifying transactions in a vehicle. The transactions utilize blockchains of a cryptocurrency to allow for verification of a transaction even where a live Internet connection is unavailable. The systems and methods utilize a digital wallet stored in the vehicle that allows for transactions with a passenger having a passenger digital wallet. A plurality of local nodes disposed in the vehicle store a local and updated copy of the blockchain to allow for verification of the cryptocurrency transactions even during periods of intermittent internet connectivity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable medium include receiving, from a user device, a request for a digital component, determining an attribute of the user based information provided by the user or information contained in the request, identifying a behavioral model corresponding to the attribute, dynamically altering a presentation of an item depicted by the digital component based on the identified behavioral model, determining that the user corresponds to an underrepresented segment of a user population in a database containing information about the item, and in response, generating a digital component that includes the dynamically altered presentation of the item, solicits feedback from the user regarding the item, and includes a feedback mechanism, updating the database to include the feedback obtained, and modifying presentation of the item when distributed to other users having the attribute of the user based, at least in part, on the feedback obtained.

A credit screening support system includes a vehicle-mounted device configured to acquire operational information on the vehicle and a server configured to compute the credit information on a user of the vehicle based on the operational information received from the vehicle-mounted device. The server includes an input element for inputting the operational information acquired by the vehicle-mounted device, a credit information computing element for computing credit information on the user based on the operational information input by the input element, and an output element for outputting the credit information on the user computed by the credit information computing element.

Abstract: Elements to be provided for display with an instance of content can be determined dynamically based upon features of those elements. The actions or behavior of a user can be stored over time, and used to determine element features that are of interest to the user for various categories of content. In order to obtain enough data for multiple categories, clustering of users can be performed where users with similar behaviors are grouped together, and their preferences for features determined for various categories. When a request for content is received, a category and user identity can be determined for the request, which is used to determine the appropriate cluster. The feature preferences for that cluster can then be used to select elements (e.g., images, audio, or video) to present with the content based at least in part upon the relevant features of those elements.

Abstract: A system and method for manufacturing custom fit artificial nails includes a 3D surface scanning module and a 3D printing module and use thereof. A central processing module is connected to the 3D surface scanning module and the 3D printing module and performs: operating the 3D surface scanning module to obtain an image of a user's hands/feet; processing the image to create an input 3D model of nails of the user; generating an output 3D model corresponding to artificial nails matching dimensions of the user's nails according to the 3D input model; operating the 3D printing module to manufacture artificial nails according to the output 3D model; and generating medical data by correlating the identified features of the user's nails with known medical conditions, in order to diagnose a medical condition of the user which is known to exhibit the identified features as a symptom. Alternatively, or additionally, medicinal ingredient may be included in the artificial nail to treat the medical condition of the user.

The method includes fetching, by the server system, a corresponding Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the PSP using the PSP ID of the PSP from a merchant portal database. The merchant portal database at least includes a list of one or more URLs stored against respective one or more PSP IDs pre-generated based on linking respective one or more PSPs to a merchant profile. The method includes sending, by the server system, the payment transaction data to a PSP server using the corresponding URL for processing the payment transaction.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a process is introduced into a machine learned model where additional results are output by the machine learned model in addition to those results that would be obtained through use of the trained model itself. In some example embodiments, these additional results may be random or semi-random to introduce results that might otherwise not have been recommended by the machine learned model. By introducing such additional results in a controlled way, it becomes possible to reduce biases caused by a self-reinforcing feedback loop while still presenting users with accurate machine learned model results.

An example methodology includes identifying a product category associated with an image of the product provided by the seller, and a product sub-category associated with the product image. The method further includes retrieving one or more images of for-sale items. The retrieval is based on a search of for-sale listings using the identified product category and the identified product sub-category. The method further includes clustering the retrieved images of for-sale items into groups, each group associated with a perspective viewpoint of the for-sale item. The method further includes providing a selected image from each group as an image recommendation. The selection is based on a value score associated with each of the images of the for-sale items. A graphical status indicating completeness of the seller's image set is updated in response to recommended images being adopted.

Abstract: Users that abandon GPS searches on GPS enabled devices before arriving at the search location are lost to business entities. The system uses the data obtained from abandoned GPS searches to identify these lost users. Sometimes a unique script embedded in the GPS application loaded onto the user's GPS enabled device scrapes the data from the GPS search and from user entries on the GPS enabled device. The system uses the obtained data to market or remarket to the lost consumers by sending personalized messages via a preferred communication medium.

The first image may be masked to occlude pixels of the first fashion item that is to be replaced with the second fashion item. Using the masked first image, the second semantic segmentation image, and the second image that includes the second fashion item, a third image may be generated that includes the person with the second fashion item.
