An embodiment of the method includes acquiring with a computing unit data on the medical imaging procedure to be performed; acquiring with the computing unit data on at least one expert operator, located at a workplace remote from the imaging modality; matching data on the medical imaging procedure with data on the expert operator; assigning at least one expert operator to the medical imaging procedure based on the matching; and providing a communication channel between the imaging modality and the remote workplace.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to provide an animated 2D barcode check that is used to securely and efficiently transmit financial information between mobile devices. The financial information includes a check written by a payer and transmitted to a merchant. The check includes account information of the payer and of the merchant with a payment service provider, a payment amount, and a cryptographic signature that has been certified by the payment service provider. The payer's mobile device encodes the check into a sequence of 2D barcodes and displays the sequence of 2D barcodes in a loop that is scanned by a camera on the merchant's mobile device. The merchant uses the cryptographic signature to verify the validity of the signature on the check without having Internet connectivity to the payment service provider. The merchant may later present the check to the payment service provider to receive payment.

A cash price and a secondary price for variations in the prescription drug dosage are determined, and adjustments to the variation in drug dosage reduce the cash price and the secondary price. The lowest cash price and the lowest secondary price is identified for each variation in dosage of the prescription drug, and the lowest price of the prescription drug for a particular dosage is selected and displayed via the GUI executing on the electronic device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and devices for identifying increased likelihood of non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) in a patient based on ECG data. The methods can include determining based on the ECG data that the patient lacks ST elevation (STE) and that the patient exhibits a ventricular repolarization dispersion (VRD) score that exceeds a predetermined threshold value. The VRD score can be based in part on a T wave complexity ratio that serves as a temporal marker of VRD for the patient. Other markers of spatial and time qualities of repolarization can also be included in the VRD score. An elevated VRD score in the absence of STE can indicate a likelihood of NSTEMI in the patient and a potential major adverse cardiac event.

Prior to performing a surgical operation or at other times, the surgical systems decrypt tool data received from a surgical tool to access identifying information and access a tool status from the status list based on the tool data. The surgical systems then proceed based on the status of the surgical tool in the status list.
