Abstract: A system and method are provided for specifying a legality expression for use in a system for processing the legality expression. The system and method include providing a legality expression language, including at least one of a duty element specifying an obligation that a principal must perform an act, a ban element specifying a prohibition that a principal must not perform an act, an intent element specifying an intention that a principal wants to perform an act, and a claim element specifying an assertion that a principal does perform an act. The system and method further include interpreting by the system a legality expression specified using the legality expression language.

Abstract: A data processing center contracts with a patent owner to prepare a patent application and then independently contracts with one of a plurality of independent contracting patent agents to prepare the patent application with a specific relationship between the sections of the patent application. A patent agent database contains a patent agent identification and subject matter classifications for patent applications by that contracting patent agent which is scanned for a match to avoid the same subject matter from two different customers being assigned to the same contract patent agent. The contract with the contract patent agent includes specific provisions regarding the relationship of the sections of a patent application and the completed patent application is graded by the center patent agent for conformance to the specific provisions of the preparation contract. The grading is stored with each contract patent agent in the contract patent agent database.

An embodiment of the method involves receiving, at a computer network site, a request for sponsorship from a requestor and responding to the request by sending either an approval or a rejection. If an approval is sent, the method further involves providing the requestor with access to content of the sponsor through the site. As part of providing this access, the method can involve requiring the requestor to accept an agreement posted on the site. The method can also include monitoring the requestor's actual use of the content.

A runtime survey, based at least in part on the intellectual asset survey template, is displayed on the IAM system user interface. The request can be sent to a research community that returns crowd-sourced results, e.g., patent assets. The patent assets can be sorted, weighted, and analyzed for quality. One method of assessing quality is to compare the crowd-sourced patent assets to patent assets obtained through other means, such as through a semantic search. Another method includes weighting results using various criteria to prioritize patent assets.

Then integrate the above data to form a questionnaire having trademark logos and related serial number. Next give respondents the questionnaire to divide the trademark samples into groups with similarity according to their subjective judgment and produce a corresponding matrix table. Input the data of the matrix table into statistical software of a microprocessor and execute Multi-Dimensional Scale (MDS) processing by the statistical software so as to get relative distance between the trademark samples. Thus the distribution of the trademark samples in the trademark map is obtained. Thereby enterprises are provided with a trademark design reference and product recognition, positioning are also achieved.
