Abstract: A system and method for determining optimal pathways to a predetermined goal, including generating a unique code for an event within a plurality of data records, where the same unique code will be generated for similar events; constructing at least one pathway using the unique codes based on the events, wherein the at least one pathway includes at least one segment; determining a goal, wherein the goal is the end of the at least one pathway; comparing the at least one pathway to other pathways sharing the determined goal; and optimizing the pathway for achievement of the determined goal.

Abstract: Using various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a learning management system to heuristically analyze behavior of a user and customizing personalized training materials have been disclosed. In one embodiment, the user is presented with educational courses structured into at least one knowledge domain or topic. The user selects a course and is provided with lessons associated with the knowledge domain. The user is then given an opportunity to test their knowledge by presenting them with a quiz. Once it is determined that the user does not have a through understanding of the subject matter being tested, supplemental/detailed training material that is heuristically customized for the user is displayed.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, machine readable mediums, and systems for providing a list of skills a member should learn in order to achieve a particular goal. The system may provide a user interface to the member of the social networking service. Through the user interface, the member may select one or more goals that they wish to achieve. Based upon these goals, the list of skills associated with that goal may be determined—this list is a goal set of skills. The goal set of skills may be compared to the member's current skills. Skills in the list of goal skills that the member does not already possess may be recommended to the member.

The memory may store job levels and career option descriptions associated with business function and job identifiers. Each job level may be associated with experience and expectation descriptions. The processor may receive a business function and job identifier and may retrieve the associated career option descriptions and job levels along with the experience and expectation descriptions associated with each job level. The processor may transform the job levels, experience descriptions, and expectation descriptions into a table. The processor may transform the career option descriptions into an interactive display which includes several shapes. Each career option may be displayed when the user selects a shape associated with the career option description. The processor may provide the table and the interactive display to a device of the user.

Abstract: Career development processes face three major challenges (1) simplifying steps that require input from multiple users, (2) promoting follow-through with career development plans, and (3) adapting to individual corporate business processes. These issues can be addressed by disabling access to a step if required previous steps have not yet been completed. Additionally, the user can receive a notification over a network when the required previous steps have been completed by a remote user. Follow-through with a career development plan can be promoted by dynamically altering a career development workflow to incorporate the steps of the development plan as they are created. That is, the development plan drives the definition of the career development workflow in which the user is already engaged, helping to monitor and enforce milestones of the development plan.

Abstract: A higher education constituent relationship (CRM) system may provide an educational institution with a graphical display of a probability and desirability value for a person at a stage of a student life cycle. For example, the higher education CRM system may receive a history of interactions between the person and the institution.
