In one example, a network server may facilitate a voice call session between user devices and associate a unique session number (USN) to each of the voice call sessions. The USN may be used as a reference when toggling between voice call sessions. In one example, when a particular voice call session is toggled to an active state, the network server may limit recipients of sensitive financial information to be between transacting parties in the active voice call session. By isolating other user devices that are not privy to transactions in the active voice call session, the chances for a transacting party in the active voice call session to accidentally send payments, for example, to an unintended recipient can be substantially minimized.

Abstract: Systems and method for splitting a bill offline include detecting one or more local devices using local wireless communications provided by a peer-to-peer communication module. At least one payer device of the one or more local devices is selected for apportioning a primary bill. An offline payment authorization is then received from each at least one payer device through local wireless communications provided by the peer-to-peer communication module. When an Internet connection is later detected, the system provider connects to the Internet and sends the offline payment authorization received from each at least one payer device to a payment provider device over the Internet. The payment provider device may then transfer funds from account(s) of the at least one payer device to the account of the system provider.

Abstract: A computer system receives an indication from a user that the user wishes to perform a mobile wallet transaction to transfer funds to a recipient using a mobile device. The transaction is authenticated by the computer system. The authentication includes receiving login credentials manually entered by the user and determining that the login credentials match stored login credentials for the user. The authentication further includes determining that the mobile device has a device token stored thereon that matches a device token stored in a database of the computer system. The device token uniquely identifies the mobile device in the computer system. The authentication further includes determining that the mobile device has a customer token stored thereon that matches the customer token stored in the database. The customer token uniquely identifying the customer in the computer system. The computer system transmits the funds to the recipient responsive to the authenticating step.

  • Patent number: 11665235
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a network cache of device input for redundancy during device inoperability. A device may detect that the device is in danger of failure, for example, if a battery is low on the device, the device is damaged, or the device may lose network connectivity. On detection of such a condition, the device may request that a server that performs electronic transaction processing establish or trigger a mode that allows for caching of transaction data as input for the transaction data is entered to a device, which may be done by sending signaling to the server indicating the condition that affects the device's operability. The server may then cache input for the transaction data. If the device fails prior to approving and completing electronic transaction processing, the server may use the cached data to generate a digital ledger for another entity.
