  • Patent number: 11403615
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for automatic synchronization of a device for transaction processing based on geo-fenced locations. A merchant may geo-fence an area corresponding to the merchant's location where a user may visit to purchase an item. The merchant may provide multiple transaction processing and payment options at the merchant location, including payment applications with a mobile communication device. A payment provider may detect the location of the user and determine that the user's location matches the merchant's location through the geo-fenced area for the merchant. The payment provider may then configure a payment process for the user to utilize at the merchant location using payment mechanisms accepted at the merchant location. Where multiple merchants are located nearby, the payment provider may utilize additional known information for the user to select the most likely merchant for the user.

  • Patent number: 11397804
Abstract: A system and associated methods for authenticating an at least one tangible product are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, upon a user desiring to authenticate a given product via a user application on a user device, an authentication request is initiated with an authentication device attached to the product. A device variable count on the authentication device is incremented based on an underlying algorithm, and the authentication device generates a data set containing at least one of a unique device identifier, a unique device key and the device variable count. The authentication device provides the data set and the device identifier to the user application, which then transmits the data to an authentication server. If the authentication server locates the device identifier in an authentication table, and subsequently processes the data set successfully, the authentication server obtains from the authentication table a server variable count associated with the device identifier.

  • Patent number: 11392956
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for processing recurring payment transactions. In various embodiments, the system receives details of the set of recurring payment transactions and stores the details in a recurring transaction details table. The system generates a virtual payment instrument and associates it with the consumer's payment instrument. The system transmits the virtual payment instrument to the consumer. The system then generates a set of payment tokens for the set of recurring transactions and links the tokens to the virtual payment instrument. Each token is associated with a discrete recurring period. The system encodes each token with a sequence of values and stores the tokens in the recurring payment token table. The system receives a recurring transaction request that includes the virtual payment instrument. The system validates the request against a token associated with the recurring period, processes the transaction, and deletes the token.

  • Patent number: 11381656
Abstract: The concept of a service layer message template is introduced, which may be a request template or a response template. Message templates may be created and stored at the service layer. Each message template may contain a set of request or response parameters and their values. Once in place, an application can send a request to the service layer that does not include the request parameters contained in the message template (i.e. request template); instead, a message template identifier may be sent. Since request parameters are included in the message template and stored at the service layer, communication overhead between the service layer and the application (or another service layer) may be reduced.

Abstract: The present invention includes systems and method for generating Virtual IDs (VIDs) and corresponding Virtual ID Chains (VICs) to anonymize and represent transactions between users, data sources, Virtual ID Management Platforms (VMP), and Third-Party Service Providers (TSPs). VIDs of embodiments are virtualized identifiers that may be used to anonymously and uniquely identify transaction participants. VIDs may be generated in a distributed manner as a party receiving transaction-related information generates a VID corresponding to the sending party. VICs of embodiments are virtualized arrays of VIDs that represent the sequence of interactions between parties to a transaction. VICs are preferably stored in association with transaction logs descriptive of the transaction represented by each VIC to facilitate subsequent processing. A VIC may be iteratively resolved to obtain one or more non-virtualized identifier corresponding to transaction participants represented by the VIC.

An ATM processor receives entry of a pre-staged ATM transaction request and the first unique authentication token and sends the entered pre-staged ATM transaction request and first unique authentication token to the host server for validation, which validates the received pre-staged ATM transaction input data and the entered first unique authentication token.

  • Patent number: 11321717
Abstract: An account holder's portfolio of transactions may be represented as a network of interconnected transaction nodes where each node represents a credit card transaction. This network may then be analyzed using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques coupled with visual representations of the interrelated nodes to draw conclusions. An account holder or other system entity may report a fraudulent transaction that employs the holder's account information. A backend system may organize transaction information as a network of data nodes that includes a variety of interrelated information. The backend system may then identify all financial transaction “nodes” within the network that are related or connected by common data. For example, multiple transactions may include a common merchant as the reported fraudulent transaction. The backend may then perform an analysis of the nodes to identify likely fraudulent transactions based on one or more of the data elements for each node.
