  • Patent number: 10614505
Abstract: An object is to provide a clustering system capable of performing clustering of a plurality of types of items to be able to recommend an item whose corresponding textual data exists but relational data with another type of item does not exist, to the other type of item. A first clustering means 3001 performs clustering of first IDs, based on the relational data. A second clustering means 3002 performs clustering of second IDs, based on the relational data and textual data associated with the second IDs. A topic assignment means 3003 assigns a topic for each word included in textual data corresponding to each second ID. A parameter decision means 3004 decides a parameter used for first clustering processing, a parameter used for second clustering processing, and a parameter used for topic assignment processing. The processing described above is repeated until it is determined that a predetermined condition is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 10614094
Abstract: A technique for visualizing topics includes depicting topic bubbles including pixels. In one example, selected topics are identified from records based on scoring candidate terms in the records according to a user-specified metric and a metric selected from among frequencies of occurrence of records pertaining to the respective candidate terms, and negativity of sentiment expressed with respect to the candidate terms in the records. A visualization is generated including bubbles representing topics, the bubbles including pixels representing corresponding records. A bubble has a shape dependent upon a number of records and a time interval represented by the bubble. Visual indicators are assigned to the pixels in a given bubble according to values of an attribute expressed in the corresponding records for the topic represented by the given bubble, resulting in the analysis of the selected topics being less time consuming and labor intensive.

The method includes searching a plurality of repositories containing the plurality of discrete rating indicators associated with the rated entity. The method may include retrieving a first rating indicator, a second rating indicator, and a third rating indicator. At least one of the first rating indicator, the second rating indicator, and the third rating indicator may be a fraudulent rating indicator. The method may include filtering out the fraudulent rating indicator from among the first, second, and third rating indicators, wherein the fraudulent rating indicator is determined based on a combination of parameters. The method may include aggregating the first, second, and third rating indicators after filtering out the fraudulent rating indicator such that the aggregation results in an aggregate rating indicator.

  • Patent number: 10482479
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for performing a total unduplicated reach and frequency analysis that analyzes a large set of variables practically. A plurality of variables are received. A subset of the plurality of variables is identified as variables of interest. Variables are partitioned randomly into groups. Each of the groups of variables contains fewer than a predetermined maximum number of variables for each group. The best combination of variables within each group is found through a total unduplicated reach and frequency analysis of each group. The winning variable or variables within each group are identified based on the highest reach score. The winners from each group analysis are then pooled into a group, and the process is repeated. The combination from the second stage with the best reach is then reported. Additional variable combinations ranked by reach may also be reported.

  • Patent number: 10482902
Abstract: The exemplified methods and systems facilitate the evaluation of user experience feedback in a manner that is secure and private by transmitting only representation of a user's response over the network (rather than the original data files of the recording). That is, complex interaction associated with a user to a stimuli is recorded, evaluated, and condensed through a machine learning operation (specifically, a convolutional neural network) performed at the user's computing device. Indeed, only a representation of the interaction is exposed over the network when it is transmitted for subsequent action there-at. Specific audio or image recording used to evaluate the user's user-experience feedback is maintained at the user's computing device. In some embodiments, the recording is preprocessed to generate a series of matrices that can be directly fed into the machine learning operation.

  • Patent number: 10475050
Abstract: One embodiment sets forth technique for computing a similarity score between two digital items is computed based on interaction histories associated with global users and interaction histories associated with local users. Global counts indicating the number of interactions associated with each unique pair of digital items are weighted based on a mixing rate. The weighted global counts are then combined with local counts to compute total counts. An effective interaction probability indicating the likelihood of a user interacting with one digital item in the pair of digital items after interacting with the other digital item in the pair is computed based on the total counts. The effective interaction probability is then corrected for noise, resulting in a similarity score indicating the similarity between the pair of digital items.

Abstract: A spoken command analyzer computing system includes technologies configured to analyze information extracted from a speech sample and, using a joint speaker and phonetic content model, both determine whether the analyzed speech includes certain content (e.g., a command) and to identify the identity of the human speaker of the speech. In response to determining that the identity matches the authorized user's identity and determining that the analyzed speech includes the modeled content (e.g., command), an action corresponding to the verified content (e.g., command) is performed by an associated device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for evaluating aggregate merchant sets, which are often generated by a payment network. One exemplary method includes accessing, by a computing device, a monitor score and a volatility score for an aggregate merchant set representative of multiple merchants having at least one disparate parameter in a transaction data structure, fuzzy sets for the monitor score and the volatility score comprising linguistic values, and inference rules that use the linguistic values in logical operations. The method also generally includes determining degrees of membership of the monitor score and volatility score to the associated fuzzy sets and generating an evaluation index based on the inference rules and the degrees of membership to the fuzzy sets, thereby providing an indication of a propriety of the aggregation of said multiple merchants.

Abstract: Influencers (individuals or groups) over a selected audience (observers or recipients of information, objects and/or events) on a given topic are measured based on influence features, which include a sentiment flipping influence feature indicative of ability of an audience member to influence other audience members to change their sentiment on the selected topic. Other influence features include the ability to influence others: to change followership; to express interest in a topic associated with a hashtag pioneered by the influencer, based on the effectiveness and phrasing of language used. The output of the influence engine can be a score representing the relative influence of audience members over the audience on the topic of interest.
