Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to systems and methods for psycho-physiological mood mapping. More specifically, the present invention relates to systems and methods for monitoring various parameters such as, but not limited to, facial muscle activity, heart rate changes, skin conductance changes, electrical charges across scalp, eye tracking, and behavior analysis and analyzing the data of such parameters via a 3D mood map. This data analysis may be used for many purposes including, without limitation, assessing the marketability of a product.

Abstract: A method to manage Internet of Things (IoT) devices is described. In one embodiment, the method includes detecting a presence of a first IoT device in a network associated with the computing device, managing access to the first IoT device based at least in part on authentication information associated with the first IoT device, identifying one or more updates associated with the first IoT device, and applying at least one update to the first IoT device based at least in part on identifying the one or more updates. In one embodiment, the method further includes analyzing a packet stream to determine one or more identifiers associated with the first IoT device, and identifying the first IoT device based at least in part on the one or more determined identifiers.

Abstract: Methods and systems for collecting feedback data. An application programming interface (API)-based survey feedback dashboard can be prepared for storing survey feedback data for an API-based survey, the API-based survey feedback dashboard capable of collecting survey feedback data comprising single choice feedback data, multi choice feedback data, or free form feedback data, or any combination thereof. A universally unique identifier (UUID) that links survey meta information and/or survey structural information with incoming survey feedback data can be generated, such that the UUID is available using the API. The survey feedback data can be collected using the API and the UUID.

Abstract: Examples relate to determining suggested offerings for users. The examples disclosed herein identify, a recent entity accessed by a user. The recent entity is matched with a trending topic, where the trending topic is determined by analyzing recent entities accessed by a plurality of users. A number of suggested offerings from the trending topic is calculated based on an importance score of the matched trending topic. At least one suggested offering for the trending topic is determined, based on the number of suggested offerings, from the recent entities accessed by the plurality of users. The at least one suggested offering is suggested to the user.

Abstract: An application sorting method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: obtaining, a positive operation probability and positive operation feedback information of each of at least two data samples; calculating an uncertainty parameter of a positive operation probability of a first data sample based on the positive operation probabilities and the positive operation feedback information of the at least two data samples and feature indication information of at least one same feature in a plurality of features in the at least two data samples; and correcting the positive operation probability of the first data sample by using the uncertainty parameter of the positive operation probability; and sorting, based on corrected positive operation probabilities, application programs corresponding to the at least two data samples.

Abstract: A system and method for connecting architects and design professionals with building product suppliers or manufacturers in the construction industry is disclosed. An example embodiment is configured to: establish a data connection with at least one architect or design professional (A/DP) platform and at least one building material supplier, building product manufacturer, and other building product expert (BPE) platform; match an A/DP at the A/DP platform with a BPE at the BPE platform based on a correlation between the project geographical location, the project type, and the project section as related to specific building product genres and geographical locations in which the BPE has represented possession of product expertise; and enable communication between the A/DP and the matched BPE, the communication including an option of either an open or veiled chat session, the veiled chat session preventing the BPE from viewing private information of the A/DP and/or their project.

Abstract: A self-governed data exchange system is disclosed to price data elements and aggregate data on a self-governed data exchange. Combining data from a variety of IoT domains will lower storage and administration costs for data generators as well as standardize the ability to query and monetize the data. Also, data will be more readily available to third parties allowing for higher overall revenue back to the data providers.

Abstract: Described herein are various embodiments of a system for tracking interests in content using a distributed data store. By being “distributed,” there may be multiple different copies of the data store that each hold a portion or all of the data of the data store, with the different copies being continuously, periodically, or occasionally synchronized to ensure that data held in one matches the data held in another, but with no copy of the data store being treated as the official or canonical copy of the data store. The distributed data store may track the interests regarding the content in particular ways, including through storing information identifying the content and identifying interests in the content. The distributed data store may be used to track interests in media, such as to track ownership, management, or royalty interests in media like songs, to provide a mechanism for “Digital Rights Expression” (DRE).

Abstract: Embodiments determine a price schedule for an item by, for each item, receiving a set of prices for the item, an inventory quantity for the item, a per-segment demand model for the item, and an objective function that is a function of the per-segment demand model and maximizes revenue based at least on a probability of a return of the item and a cost of the return. Embodiments allocate the inventory quantity among a plurality of customer segments based at least on a predicted contribution of each customer segment to the objective function. Embodiments determine a markdown portion of the price schedule for the item that maximizes the objective function, where the markdown portion assigns a series of prices selected from the set of prices for respective time periods during a clearance season for the item.

Abstract: An apparatus has a memory with processor-executable instructions and a processor operatively coupled to the memory. The apparatus receives datasets including time series data points that are descriptive of a feature of a given entity. The processor determines a time series characteristic based on the data content, and selects, based on the determined characteristic, a set of entrant forecasting models from a pool of forecasting models stored in the memory. Next, the processor trains each entrant forecasting model with the time series data points to produce a set of trained entrant forecasting models. The processor executes each trained entrant forecasting model to generate a set of forecasted values indicating estimations of the feature of the given entity. Thereafter the processor selects at least one forecasting model from the set of trained entrant forecasting models based on computed accuracy evaluations performed over the set of forecasted values.

Abstract: Systems and methods for intelligently allocating inventory across a network of vending machines. The systems and methods include associating vending machines with an inventory target for a product and predicting a production requirement of the product based upon the respective inventory targets. After production occurs, the systems and methods include determining a difference between an amount of the product produced by the production facility based upon the predicted production requirement. To intelligently allocate the difference, the systems and methods include calculating a percentage by which the respective inventory target of vending machines changes if the modified and modifying the inventory target for vending machines in a manner that minimizes a sum of the percentages by which the respective inventory targets changes.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and method for machine learning and blockchain-based anti-discrimination validation. The described techniques uses a machine learning model to generate a numerical determination associated with a first person based on an input data set associated with the first person. The numerical determination is further based on a corrective module configured to compensate for prohibited discrimination by the machine learning model. The technique generates a blockchain transaction data structure comprising a state of the machine learning model at the time of generating the numerical determination, a copy of the input data set associated with the person, and an indication of a correction by the machine learning model. The blockchain transaction data structure is recorded or published in a blockchain network.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for tracking inventory events in an area of real space. A plurality of sensors produce respective sequences of frames in corresponding fields of view in the real space. The field of view of each sensor overlaps with the field of view of at least one other sensor. The processing system uses the sequences of frames produced by sensors in the plurality of sensors to identify gestures by detected subjects in the area of real space and produce inventory events. The inventory events include a subject identifier identifying a detected subject, a gesture type of the identified gesture by the detected subject, an item identifier identifying an inventory item linked to the gesture by the detected subject, a location of the gesture represented by positions in three dimensions of the area of real space and a timestamp.

Abstract: In one or more implementations, groups of users enter a facility within a short time. Automated systems attempt to predict a grouping for various users, but the predicted grouping may not exhibit a confidence level above a certain threshold level. In such cases, a user interface is generated and presented to an associate to confirm the grouping of users. The user interface includes an image gallery and interface elements that allow for the selection of users into a group. The image gallery includes previously stored images of users, such as images obtained during a registration process or during a previous visit to the facility. In addition, the user interface also includes image data obtained from a camera at the facility depicting visitors at various times or locations. Once a grouping has been selected or confirmed by an associate, group data may be generated and stored for the group of users.

The rule platform obtains a first event and a first rule related to the first event from a rule base. The rule platform includes the rule base including a rule and each rule includes a condition. The rule platform updates a matching status of a first condition corresponding to the first event in the first rule The terminal displays a recommendation result corresponding to the first rule when a matching status of each condition in the first rule indicates that the matching is successful. Abstract: A validation system and method are provided that examine data for use in tracking and/or generating an action plan. Data is received and stored at an implementation data store from production data sources. Evaluation rules are applied to the data by a data storage system. The evaluation rules are applied by running previously created scripts of commands of the data storage system. Applying the evaluation rules to the one or more sets of the data outputs a deviation measure for at least one of the sets of the data. The deviation measure and a restricted list of defined validation decisions is presented to an analyst for the data. A selected validation decision is received, and the data is validated for use in the action plan, rejected for use in the action plan, or identified as requiring additional analysis before being validated for use in the action plan.

Abstract: In implementations of augmented video prototyping, a mobile device records augmented video data as a captured video of a recorded scene in an environment, the augmented video data including augmented reality tracking data as 3D spatial information relative to objects in the recorded scene. A video prototyping module localizes the mobile device with reference to the objects in the recorded scene using the 3D spatial information for the mobile device being within boundaries of the recorded scene in the environment. The video prototyping module can generate an avatar for display that represents the mobile device at a current location from a perspective of the recorded scene, and create a spatial layer over a video frame at the current location of the avatar that represents the mobile device. The spatial layer is an interactive interface on which to create an augmented reality feature that displays during playback of the captured video.

Abstract: Disclosed is a churn prediction system that predicts with a high level of accuracy which users will and which users will not stop opening the app over a 30-day time period. To this end a model is created using historical event data where the churn-related behavior of each user is known. New event data is then applied to the model to determine the likelihood of each user churning in the future. With these prediction scores a user is then qualified as falling into one of three classifications: low-risk, medium-risk, or high-risk of churn.

The customer uses a graphical user interface to interconnect the resources and create the service construct. The process may involve collaboration with the network provider. The resulting construct is validated for use in a communications network.

While the user device operates in the offline mode, the user may browse the catalog and select items to purchase. On a future connection to the network, the user device may transmit a purchase request for the selected items to the merchant server and/or payment provider server.

Abstract: According to some embodiments, an existing risk relationship data store may contain electronic records, each electronic record including a risk relationship identifier and a risk relationship characteristic for an existing risk relationship between the enterprise and an entity. A prediction platform may receive electronic records associated with a set of existing risk relationships along with an indication of a future adjustment to a parameter associated with the set of existing risk relationships. The prediction platform may then automatically calculate a projected future impact to a key metric for the set of existing risk relationships based on the future adjustment to the parameter. A rendering platform may receive the projected future impact to the key metric and present an interactive graphical user interface, including an indication of projected future impact, to an administrator.
