The method includes: obtaining an original source text and a reconstructed source text; performing semantic encoding on the original source text, to obtain a source vector sequence; sequentially decoding the source vector sequence to obtain target vectors by performing decoding on the source vector sequence at a current time according to a word vector of a candidate target word determined at a previous time, determining a candidate target word at the current time according to a target vector at the current time, and forming a target vector sequence accordingly; performing reconstruction assessment on the source vector sequence and the target vector sequence using the reconstructed source text, to obtain reconstruction scores corresponding to the candidate target words; and generating a target text according to the reconstruction scores and the candidate target words.

Abstract: A faster and more streamlined system for providing summary and analysis of large amounts of communication data is described. System and methods are disclosed that employ an ontology to automatically summarize communication data and present the summary to the user in a form that does not require the user to listen to the communication data. In one embodiment, the summary is presented as written snippets, or short fragments, of relevant communication data that capture the meaning of the data relating to a search performed by the user. Such snippets may be based on theme and meaning unit identification.

Abstract: Systems and methods of machine learning for digital assets and message creation are provided herein. The present disclosure includes mechanisms for receiving one or more assets that include textual content, performing machine learning on the one or more assets in order to determine relevant words, phrases, and statistics included in the textual content, and displaying segments of data on a graphical user interface that also includes an interface that is used to create a message using content of the segments of the textual content that have been extracted from the one or more assets.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a text file of an author's book as input to a serialized process that creates a record of each paragraph of text and creating a character file with associated character attributes and information required for the recording process and or virtualization process. The method includes combining the serialized file with the character file to create a snippet file, assigning characters to snippets, and generating audio files from snippets using text-to-speech APIs. The snippets of text are assigned to a character, can be edited and audio played back. The method includes sharing snippets with narrators to record specific characters not represented by text-to-speech synthesized audio and concatenating all audio files from snippets, with proper time spacing, into a publishable audiobook format. The snippets are concatenated, and audio files are created through links to text-to-speech API processes. The snippets are concatenated and shared with a human narrator.

Abstract: One embodiment of the invention provides a method for entity extraction, comprising determining a set of part-of-speech (POS) tags based on one or more documents, determining a concept in the one or more documents based on the set of POS tags, and extracting one or more phrases from the one or more documents based on the concept. The method further comprises generating a first set of rules corresponding to the concept based on the one or more phrases, generating a second set of rules specific to a domain based on the first set of rules, and learning, via an adapter grammar, a structure of one or more named entities in the one or more documents based on the second set of rules.

Abstract: A method for generating summaries includes selecting a first subset of text units of a text composition to incorporate into a first summary of the text composition using a weighting of the text units that indicates for each text unit a relative importance of including the text unit in summaries of the text composition. The weighting of the text units is modified to reduce the relative importance of each text unit in the first subset based on the text unit having been selected for the first subset. A second subset of the text units is selected to incorporate into a second summary of the text composition using the modified weighting of the text units. At least one of the first summary and the second summary are provided to a user device.

Abstract: A system has worker machines connected by a network. Each worker machine stores at least one partition of a distributed database and a partial function module to initialize a database dimension, increment an aggregate of the database dimension in response to a data change and to serialize a last aggregate of the database dimension in response to a refresh operation to form partial results of an analytical view. An analytical view machine connected to the network responds to a query without accessing a partition of the distributed database. The analytical view machine merges partial results from the worker machines to produce a final result to the query.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a system for monitoring and controlling an online user profile of a user. In response to receiving a data request from the user to access a first web site, the system forwards the data request and desired persona scores to an intelligence service system, receives a list of other web sites from the intelligence service system, and counteracts the user's access to the first web site by spawning multiple threads in accordance with the list received. The multiple threads spawned are transparent to the user. One method embodiment includes computing term scores for members of a set of terms in a document to be summarized and computing sentence scores for sentences in a set of sentences in the document. The method embodiment also includes computing a set of entries for a term-sentence matrix that relates terms to sentences. The method embodiment also includes computing a dominant topic for the document and simultaneously ranking the set of terms and the set of sentences based on the dominant topic. The method embodiment provides a summarization item(s) selected from the set of terms and/or the set of sentences.
