The method further includes, in response to the state update command, sending a command to perform a state update in a first server of a plurality of servers and queueing incoming requests for access to the plurality of servers. The method further includes receiving confirmation from the first server that the state update was successful. The method further includes, after receiving the confirmation, sending a respective command to the plurality of servers to perform the state update and a scheduled update time associated with the state update. The method further includes receiving a respective state update message from a subset of the plurality of servers that the state update was successful and after receiving the state update message, transmitting the queued incoming requests to the subset of the plurality of servers.

The boot data object includes one or more predefined parameters of a booting operation stored locally on the client device and the boot data object is applicable to a plurality of executable software applications. The computer-implemented method further includes downloading at least one asset data and application data based on a specific application of the plurality of executable software applications from a group-based communication system. The at least one of the asset data and the application data is configured for generation of at least a portion of a display associated with the group-based communication browser session.

Abstract: Methods and system are described for special processing of fax transmissions. In one embodiment, an electronic device receives a first searchable electronic document and a fax telephone number. The device determines that the document is to be transmitted as an electronic message based on the number. The device generates a second searchable electronic document from the first document. The device adds an electronic signature to the second document that includes at least one of a timestamp of when the first document was received, a number of pages of the second document, and source device information. The device transmits the electronic message that includes the second document to a destination address according to the number. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

The second set of data and the remaining set of data both include data processing requests or data processing execution results input or generated by the computer system. The computer hardware prepares electronic messages to be transmitted over a communications network to a plurality of remote user terminals. The electronic messages contain the second set of data but do not contain the remaining set of data. The computer hardware controls a frequency at which the electronic messages containing the second set of data are to be transmitted over the communications network based on the input relating to the load.

A reverse address mapping process for 5G media streaming associated with a content preparation process is identified. A media content address is calculated based on the identified reverse address mapping process. A workflow is generated for the content preparation process based on the calculated media content address. 5G media streaming content preparation is performed according to the workflow of the content preparation process.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for detecting and dynamically rate limiting unauthorized attempts to obtain user account information from an online service provider. An online system is configured with a request rate limit and a list of user identifiers associated with accounts at risk of being compromised. The system receives requests, each associated with a user identifier, from one or more devices. The system determines what amount of user identifiers associated with the requests match user identifiers on the list over a period of time. If the amount meets or exceeds a threshold, the system reduces the request rate limit for devices that made a request associated with user identifiers matching those on the list.

Abstract: Similar assets across a digital attack surface are identified. Extracting detail information and related edge information enables a network analysis system to provide indexed assets. A user of a network analysis system may provide additional data sources to enhance indexed assets. New data sources are processed in bulk to update existing assets. Edge information is pre-computed to provide on-demand access to a global inventory of mapped domain infrastructure assets.

Abstract: According to certain implementations, an access control system controls access to secured data that is stored on a secured source. A requestor system may request information representing the secured data. The access control system receives the secured data from the secured source, and selects a portion of the secured data based on a lens including a filter criteria or a modification instruction. Adjusted data may be generated based on a modification of the selected portion of data, where the modification is based on the lens. The access control system provides the adjusted data to the requestor system via an access interface. In some cases, upon completion of a time period, the access control system prevents the requestor system from accessing the adjusted data, by disabling the access interface used to access the adjusted data. The adjusted data may be deleted from the access control system.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for operation of a feature management platform. A feature management platform is an end-to-end platform developed to manage the full lifecycle of data features. For example, to create a stateful feature, the feature management platform can receive a processing artifact from a computing device. The processing artifact defines the stateful feature, including the data source to retrieve event data from, when to retrieve the event data, the type of transform to apply, etc. Based on the processing artifact, the feature management system generates a processing job (e.g., the API defines a pipeline), which when initiated generates a vector that encapsulates the stateful feature. The vector is transmitted to the computing device that locally hosts a model, which generates a prediction that is transmitted to the feature management platform. Subsequently, the predication and stateful feature can be transmitted to other computing devices.

An operation management system is configured to perform operation management on a storage device including a plurality of resources and a plurality of volumes. In the storage device, IO processing and copy processing are performed between a plurality of volume groups in which the plurality of volumes are collected. The operation management system includes a processor, and the processor is configured to predict an inter-pool copy speed between the plurality of volume groups belonging to a same resource pool in the storage device, and predict an inter-volume copy time based on the predicted inter-pool copy speed.

In other implementations, the second computing device may lack access to the application. An electronic device monitors its temperature and, responsive to the temperature, configures a transcoding service to operate at different rates. A frame delay module is configured to add a delay between read frames prior to the transcoding service. This enables the electronic device to consume less power when temperatures are too high in order to provide thermal mitigation and can be performed without powering down the electronic device.

Abstract: Various embodiments of apparatuses and methods for transaction processing at edge servers in a content distribution network (“CDN”) are described. In some embodiments, an edge server receives an initial request from a client for content associated with a particular origin, and then provides the content to the client. The edge server can then receive another request from the client that might include an indicator for transaction processing. The edge server determines that transaction processing is indicated for handling this new request, in some embodiments. The edge server can then send a transaction notification to the origin, receive a transaction continuation response from the origin, and then execute a data transaction with transaction entities that are distinct from the content distribution network and the origin, in some embodiments. If the transaction is successful, the edge server can notify the client and the origin of the successful transaction, in some embodiments.

Variants may be assigned weights which can be set or changed dynamically by the card engine substantively and in real time based on factors such as user behavior, account condition, promotions or offerings. The card engine may make content decisions proximate to events occurring to the user. The presentation of the cards may be changed substantively and in real time in accordance with the setting or changes in variants.

Abstract: Methods for authentication session transfer using application download links are performed by systems and devices. A user or administrator at a first device enables the user to use an application at the user's mobile device. The user or administrator provides a request for the mobile application from the first device to an identity service. The identity service generates a uniform resource locator (URL) that encodes an authentication object generated by the identity service that is specific to the user's identity, and provides the URL to the mobile device. The identity service receives the authentication object back from a browser session of the URL at the user device, and establishes an authenticated browser session of the URL using the authentication object. The identity services authenticates the user's identity for the mobile application responsive to the mobile application invoking the authenticated browser session at the user device.

Abstract: A device, method and system for adjusting a configuration of a camera device is provided. An example device is in communication with an example camera device having a configuration. The device receives an image sequence from the camera device. The device processes the image sequence to determine a predicted location of a target object identified in the image sequence based on movement of the target object in the image sequence. The device adjusts the configuration of the camera device based on a stored configuration of the camera device, the stored configuration indicative of conditions at the predicted location.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products are disclosed for cluster configuration backup and recovery. One method includes receiving, by use of a processor, configuration data for a cluster. The method includes storing the configuration data for the cluster. The method also includes forming a machine-readable code that corresponds to the stored configuration data for the cluster. Abstract: Technology to provide link aware streaming adaptation is disclosed. In an example, a mobile device can include one or more processors configured to: process a manifest file for an HTTP adaptive stream that is received at the mobile device from a node; determine a physical layer goodput of the mobile device with the node for the HAS; identify a segment throughput estimate for the HAS; and select a representation in the manifest file for a selected period based, on the physical layer goodput for the HAS and the segment throughput for the HAS.

Abstract: Secondary media content is displayed based on metadata of primary media content, the secondary content specifying a data transfer action. Input can be received from a paired wireless input device. Upon receiving the input, the data transfer action can be executed, wherein the data transfer action includes retrieving transferable data specified according to the secondary media content; and transmitting the retrieved transferable data to an unpaired device via a network.

Abstract: Systems and methods for locating server nodes in close proximity to edge devices using georouting. Microservers automatically form a global peer-to-peer network to serve edge functions and content to edge devices. Edge devices use HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to execute serverless functions or otherwise retrieve data from edge nodes located in close proximity to the HTTP client. Serverless functions are implemented in secure, isolated environment utilizing a blockchain.

Abstract: Constraint based command invocations are dynamically queued in a cloud queue such that aspects of remote user devices may be remotely controlled with reduced exposure to inconvenient remotely issued commands. By monitoring conditions that may trigger command invocations, verifying rules of associated constraints prior to queuing command invocations, evaluating parameters to prioritize command invocations in a dynamic issuing order within cloud queue, examining factors and reverifying previously verified rules when determining whether to transmit a command from an command invocation located at a transmission position of the cloud queue, systems and methods herein provide a constrained environment within which user devices may be remotely controlled relatively free from unexpected cloud caused encumbrances during inopportune moments.

Abstract: A system and method for automatically analyzing and managing a media hub software update. The system and method each utilize available media hub system and diagnostic information to aid in the analysis and installation of a software update. If the installation of the update is determined to require memory capacity in excess of what is currently available within the media hub, an archive and off-loading process is automatically initiated to free the required memory space during the installation process. Any off-loaded information and/or applications are then restored after the installation is complete.

Abstract: A function node control unit records a pair of an input message and a computer program as a journal log, and sends the input message and the computer program to a virtual machine unit. The virtual machine unit executes the computer program with the input message as an argument, and sends the execution result to the function node control unit. The function node control unit outputs the execution result as an output message. At the time of activation of the information processing device, a recovery unit restores the virtual machine unit to the state at a particular time in the past; sequentially fetches journal logs recorded after the particular time; causes the virtual machine unit to sequentially re-execute the computer programs with the input messages included in the respective journal logs as corresponding arguments; and roll-forwards the state of the virtual machine unit to the latest state.

Abstract: Disclosed is a systems and methods of distributed data storage using multi-layers consistent hashing comprising: a plurality of storage nodes providing data storage and redundancy protection; a plurality of management nodes maintaining the properties of the storage nodes and mapping information from virtual groups to storage nodes; a plurality of monitor nodes maintaining the state of storage nodes and handling the changes of states of storage nodes including joining, decommissioning and failure; and one or more clients providing entries for applications or users to access the storage system. The storage nodes is in a hierarchical tree arrangement, and each storage node in each layer of the tree is allocated with a plurality of identities and configured for remaining hash space with consistency. Instead of sharing one hash space among all storage nodes, there are a plurality of hash spaces kept consistent in each layer of the storage hierarchical tree.

Abstract: A first machine identifies, from among a non-static collection of machines, a respective set of forward contacts that comprises a set of machines. The set of forward contacts are distributed along the ordered sequence in the forward direction away from the respective machine in an order of increasing similarity between the respective channel number assigned to the first machine and a respective channel number assigned to each of the set of forward contacts. The first machine establishes a respective direct communication channel between the first machine and each of the set of forward contacts. The first machine sends a first query to a first forward contact and sends collected answers for the first query to at least a second forward contact that has a greater similarity to the first machine based on the respective channel numbers of the first machine and the first and second forward contacts.

Abstract: A cloud infrastructure is configured and deployed for managing services executed on a cloud platform. The cloud infrastructure includes a control datacenter configured to communicate with one or more service datacenters. The service datacenter deploys one or more application programming interfaces (API's) associated with a service. The service datacenter also deploys an administration agent. The control datacenter hosts an engine that receives requests from users to perform administration operations by invoking the administration API's. In this manner, the control datacenter functions as a centralized control mechanism that effectively distributes administration operation requests as they are received from users to service datacenters that can service the requests. The cloud infrastructure provides an auditable, compliant and secure management system for administering services for distributed systems running in the cloud.

Abstract: In order to achieve location transparency and routing slip extensibility, a system and a method for orchestrating a web service using Business Process Execution Language are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a message, wherein the message comprises an address identifying an extension element; determining, from the address, a location of the extension element identified by the address; responsive to determining the location of the extension element, directing the message to an appropriate location; and storing the message in a computer readable storage medium.

Abstract: A first access key, which is provided by a key server for decrypting a file and the encrypted file is published on a public network by a first user. Every time the secured file is accessed by a second user, the first access key is provided by the key server to decipher the file. The first user can control access to the file by deleting the first access key on the key server, thus denying the second user access to the access key preventing de-encryption of the secured file.

Abstract: A system for user registration and preference configuration for a data sharing platform is provided. The system comprises a user data repository containing data relating to a plurality of users, a permissions repository containing user profile configuration settings relating to the plurality of users, and a graphical user interface generated by the system and provided over a network. The graphical user interface is configured to receive an input of a user to register for a data sharing service of the system, generate a plurality of selectable interaction points, receive user profile information, user profile configuration settings, and a designation of at least one experience provider with which to share data of the user, and store, via associative linking, the received user profile information, user profile configuration settings, and the designation of the at least one experience provider with which to share data of the user.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are enhancements for deploying applications in an edge system of a communication network. In one implementation, a cache node in a content delivery network identifies a request for an application that is shared by a plurality of customers. In response to the request, the cache node determines whether the customer associated with the request is permitted to execute the application and, if permitted, initiates the application as an isolation instance. The cache node further, in response to completing the application, returns control to a source operation associated with the request.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and apparatus relating to content streaming, e.g., in a home network, in a manner that reduces the chance of streaming of content to a device which is not authorized to receive the content. In an exemplary method of controlling content streaming on a home network in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, the method involves receiving at a home network gateway a first video on demand service request message from a first device coupled to the home network, storing a portion of said first video on demand service request message in memory, receiving at said home network gateway a second message, and determining based on a portion of said second message and a portion of said stored first video on demand service request message whether to provide the requested video on demand service.
