Abstract: The present application discloses a method and apparatus for updating a password of an electronic device, a device, and a storage medium, and relates to intelligent transportation, vehicle-road collaboration, and device security technologies in the field of data processing. The specific implementation solution is: in response to detecting a trigger condition of a password update, the electronic device randomly generates a first password, and updates a login password of the electronic device to the first password; then the electronic device sends a password updating message to a server, and the password updating message is configured to indicate an identification of the electronic device and the first password. The server updates the database for storing login passwords of different electronic devices according to the password updating message. Through the above process, the safety of the electronic device is improved.

Abstract: A distribution server restructures content and information published to a topic tree for more efficient and meaningful presentation to a subscribing client. To do so, the distribution server receives a request to create a topic view from a client and creates the topic view in response. The topic view includes a set of selected topics and a topic view mapping. The topic view mapping maps the topic paths for the set of selected topics to a set of reference topics at a set of reference paths. In other words, the topic view restructures the content and information by creating new branches in the topic tree. Whenever a selected topic receives an update from a publisher, the distribution server publishes the update as restructured content and information to the reference topics at the reference paths. A client subscribed to the reference path receives the update in a restructured manner.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to edge attestation of a host node to access a cloud infrastructure environment. A set of authentication data can be obtained from a console for authorization of the host node. The set of authentication data can include a first endorsement key and an authentication policy identifying characteristics of the host node. The host node can send a request for a network address to connect to the cloud infrastructure environment. The host node can generate a second endorsement key and authentication data that can be verified as corresponding to the set of authentication data received from the console. Responsive to validating the second endorsement key and the received host node authentication data, the network address can be provided to the host node that can be used to connect to the cloud infrastructure environment using the network address.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing supplemental information with a response to a command are provided herein. In some embodiments, audio data representing a spoken command may be received by a cloud-based information system. A response to the command may be retrieved from a category related to the context of the command. A supplemental information database may also be provided that is pre-populated with supplemental information related to an individual having a registered account on the cloud-based information system. In response to retrieving the response to the command, supplemental information may be selected from the supplemental information database to be appended to the response to the command. A message may then be generated including the response and the supplemental information appended thereto, which in turn may be converted into audio data representing the message, which may be sent to a voice-controlled electronic device of the individual.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a data-plane forwarding circuit (data plane) that can be configured to provide protection from a SYN-flood denial of service attack by validating a source of a SYN data messages before allowing future messages to be forwarded to a protected server. To perform its forwarding operations, the data plane includes several data message processing stages that are configured to process the data tuples associated with the data messages received by the data plane. In some embodiments, parts of the data plane message-processing stages are also configured to operate as a connection-validation circuit that includes (1) a SYN-processing circuit to process SYN data messages received by the data plane, and (2) an ACK-processing circuit to process ACK data messages received by the data plane.

The social network receives, from the first user, one or more answers responsive to the one or more questions. The social network determines whether each of the answers is correct based on the stored profile information of the second user. The social network transmits, to the second user, an invitation to establish the connection with the first user when at least a number of the answers are correct.

A packet is received from a network fabric by a first Host Channel Adapter (HCA). The packet has a header portion including a destination subnet prefix identifying a destination subnet of the network fabric. The network HCA is allowed to receive the first packet from a port of the network HCA by selectively determining a logical state of a flag and, selectively in accordance with a predetermined logical state of the flag, ignoring the destination subnet prefix identifying the destination subnet of the network fabric.

Abstract: User Equipment (“UEs”) associated with a conference may automatically join the conference (e.g., in situations where the teleconference is a scheduled teleconference or other suitable situations). As discussed below, when automatically joining a teleconference in such a manner, the UE may refrain from sending conference-related information (e.g., captured audio, video, etc.) to a teleconferencing system or to other participants of the teleconference until a user of the UE selects to join the teleconference. In this manner, control signaling or other setup procedures may be performed prior to the user selecting to join the teleconference, thus reducing the amount of time spent to perform such signaling or procedures after the user has indicated readiness to join the teleconference.

The filter determines LL traffic that is received and uses a DSC messaging process is used add a classifier for directing the LL traffic to the LL SF. If LL traffic associated with an LL traffic filter of the classifier begins to buildup in a queue, the LL traffic filter is removed from the classifier. This information is provided to a LL controller server that refines the application traffic filter list used to create the classifier. When LL traffic has not been received for a predetermined time, the classifier is removed. Once LL traffic is again detected by the L2 modem filters, a classifier is again added.

The VPN-GW receives user data over the VPN and transfers the user data to the AF for delivery to the NEF. The AF receives the user data for delivery to the NEF and generates an Application Programming Interface (API) call with the user data. The AF transfers the API call to the NEF. The NEF receives the API call and responsively exposes the user data. The user data may comprise user signaling, and the UE may exchange user data with external systems over the VPN GW responsive to the user signaling.

A request for content can be received, wherein the request originates from a virtual machine hosted by the computing device, comprises a unique identifier for the content, and is received from the virtual machine through an inter-process communication mechanism. The unique identifier can be validated. Content can then be retrieved using the unique identifier. A copy of the content can then be provided to the virtual machine in response to validation of the unique identifier, the content being provided to the virtual machine through the inter-process communication mechanism.

Abstract: The embodiments described herein describe technologies to address initial establishment of device credentials in an Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure. The embodiments are directed to unifying secure credential establishment regardless of the endpoint type, thus addressing the challenge of a great diversity among IoT devices. This approach is designed to address a challenge of initial trusted enrollment of the IoT endpoints into a secure infrastructure, which allows secure communications between the devices in the IoT environment.

The technique can include: detecting a first protocol data unit addressed from a first device in the first network and addressed to a destination in the second network, prior to translation by a network address translator; inserting, prior to translation from the first addressing scheme to the second addressing scheme, a breadcrumb protocol data unit that is addressed to the second network, the breadcrumb protocol data unit including, in a location immune from address translation by the network address translator, the source address of the first protocol data unit; receiving a translated breadcrumb protocol data unit; and reporting an association of the source address of the first protocol data unit with the translated source address of the first protocol data unit.

Abstract: A system, process, and computer-readable medium for updating an application cache using a stream listening service is described. A stream listening service may monitor one or more data streams for content relating to a user. The stream listening service may forward the content along with time-to-live values to an application cache. A user may use an application to obtain information regarding the user's account, where the application obtains information from a data store and/or cached information from the application cache. The stream listening service, by forwarding current account information, obtained from listening to one or more streams, to the application cache, reduces traffic at the data store by providing current information from the data stream to the application cache.

A network management component (NMC) can determine a group of hooks, and an order of respective hooks of the group in a network address management stack, that can be utilized to configure a network address on an interface associated with a group of nodes based on characteristics associated with a node or interface configuration system. NMC can execute the group of hooks in order at runtime to facilitate configuration of the network address on the interface. NMC can execute respective threads of a hook stack in parallel for respective network addresses. NMC can modify a hook(s) in a hook group in response to a change in characteristics associated with the node or interface configuration system. NMC can determine another group of hooks and hook order that can be executed to remove the network address from the interface.

The forwarder-proxy, responsive to the request for dynamic content, forwards the request to an origin server and does not cache the dynamic content. The datacenter selected for the forwarder-proxy is one that is “close” to the origin server in terms of round-trip time (RTT) to improve network performance for requests for dynamic content.

The endpoint device may be part of a larger VLAN environment in which endpoint devices are deployed under a default gateway with point-to-point links.

One example method includes sending, by a session management function (SMF) network element, identification information of a terminal device, a data network name (DNN), and slice information to a data management network element to request first subscription data that is of the terminal device and that is associated with the DNN and the slice information, where the slice information is used to identify a network slice served by the SMF network element, and receiving, by the SMF network element, the first subscription data from the data management network element.
