Abstract: A series circuit and a computing device include a power supply terminal for providing voltage for a plurality of chips disposed on the computing device; a ground terminal disposed at one end of each of the plurality of chips relative to the power supply terminal; and a first connection line for separately connecting a first predetermined number of chips of the plurality of chips in series, wherein a communication line is connected between adjacent chips of the first predetermined number of chips, a portion of the communication line is connected to a target connection point, which is disposed on the first connection line and adapted to the adjacent chips, via a third connection line, and the voltage at the target connection point is greater than or equal to the minimum voltage required for communication between the adjacent chips.

Abstract: A method of web services throttling in a web application server environment, where a number of web services servers communicate with web services clients over a network. A request is received from a web services client which contains an account ID related to the web services client. An ID reader resident on one of the web services servers reads the account ID; and a value related to the account ID in a counter, resident on the one of the services servers, is incremented. The method also involves communicating with the remaining web services servers to increment the value in a plurality of counters, each of which is resident on one of the remaining web services servers. The web services servers compare the count value related to the account ID to a throttling limit value.
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a method of migrating a virtual machine. The method comprises replicating a source storage device corresponding to the virtual machine to a target storage device through replication links. The method also comprises receiving a migration state that indicates initiation of a migration of the virtual machine from a source server to a target server. The method also comprises collecting storage system status information of the source storage device and storing the storage system status information to a persistent store accessible to the target server. The method also comprises sending memory states and central processing unit (CPU) states to the target server through a communications network. The method also comprises performing a failover of the virtual machine from the source server to the target server and from source storage device to target storage device.
Abstract: A non-transitory, computer-readable recording medium stores therein a verification program that causes a computer to execute detecting from a structure expressing a group of scenarios for verifying an operation of a design under verification and by hierarchizing sequences for realizing the operation as nodes, a similar node similar to a faulty node representing a sequence in which a fault has occurred; generating a string of sequences represented by a group of nodes on a path starting from a start node of the structure to the detected similar node; and outputting the generated string of sequences.

Abstract: An Electrical Fast Transient/Burst (EFT/B) detection and recovery system for a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device. The system includes a USB core and a burst controller. The USB core provides serial communications with a host device through a USB data channel. The burst controller is coupled to the USB core. The burst controller detects an EFT/B event and automatically reconnects the USB core to the host device in response to recognition of a suspend state of the USB core by the host device.
