Video Parameter Control Patents (Class 715/722)
  • Patent number: 11403343
Abstract: The retrieval device extracts a feature corresponding to search text by inputting the search text into a pre-trained text feature extraction model. The retrieval device then, for plural combinations stored in a database associating a text description including plural sentences, with a vehicle-view video, and with vehicle behavior data representing temporal vehicle behavior, computes a text distance represented by a difference between a feature extracted from each sentence of the text description associated with the video and vehicle behavior data, and the feature corresponding to the search text. The retrieval device outputs as the search result a prescribed number of pairs of video and vehicle behavior data pairs in sequence from the smallest text distance according to the text distances.

Abstract: Some implementations related to archiving of functional images. In some implementations, a method includes accessing images and determining one or more functional labels corresponding to each of the images and one or more confidence scores corresponding to the functional labels. A functional image score is determined for each of the images based on the functional labels having a corresponding confidence score that meets a respective threshold for the functional labels. In response to determining that the functional image score meets a functional image score threshold, a functional image signal is provided that indicates that one or more of the images that meet the functional image score threshold are functional images. The functional images are determined to be archived, and are archived by associating an archive attribute with the functional images such that functional images having the archive attribute are excluded from display in views of the images.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for producing full synchronization of a digital file with a live event. Using time-based cues such as musical beats, the live event is time mapped. The video file to be synced is measured in frames per second is then translated from its frames per second original time code into the time code of the live event in beats per minute making it possible to measure the playback rate of the source media file in the same units of measurement as the live event. The result is a playback mechanism that allows for more precise real time playback rate corrections by an operator by providing a visible cue so they can better keep the source media synced with the live event, even if there are real time tempo variations in the live event.

Abstract: A scroll display control device is provided, which is capable of scroll-displaying a text corresponding to a picture in such manner that the text can be easily understood. The scroll display control device scroll-displays, in synchronism with reproduction of the picture correlated to text information (TI), the corresponding text information (TI) on a text display screen (TW). A scroll speed calculation unit (102) dynamically calculates a text scroll speed (v) on the basis of a time length of a picture section presently under reproduction, a text quantity of the corresponding text section and text display setting information. A picture text control unit (104) scroll-displays text of the text section at a predetermined reference position of the text display screen (TW) according to the scroll speed (v). By displaying preceding and succeeding texts with respect to the text corresponding to the picture section presently under reproduction, it is possible to read back and pre-read.

Abstract: To improve the art of graphical user interfaces, the present invention introduces a system that displays iconic resource representations having a salient dimension in a manner that provides the user with an indication of where the user is within that resource. The system of the present invention achieves this goal with the use of a novel system of icon label placement for that resource icon. Specifically, the system of the present invention uses the position of a label on an iconic resource representation that extends beyond at least one edge of a window to convey a proportional position within than iconic resource representation. Thus, a user is given an understanding of the current proportional location within an iconic resource representation from where the graphical interface system renders the label on the iconic resource representation.
