Abstract: A method for allowing a user to respond to a pop-up message sent by an online banking application. The method includes displaying a task message on a user device, providing a selection in the task message for performing a task, providing a selection in the task message that allows the user to be reminded about performing the task at a later time, and providing a time message that allows the user to determine when to receive the task message again and be reminded to perform the task if the user selects the selection for being reminded about performing the task. The method can also provide a no show selection in the task message that allows the user to prevent the task message from being shown again and provide a no show time message that allows the user to set an earliest date that the task message can be shown again.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments are directed toward local emotion detection during live streaming events. A client device receives a video stream from a remote server and captures media content while displaying the video stream. The client device uses a local machine learning/artificial intelligence event detection model to detect events in the media content. The client device then transmits detected events to the remote server involved in the live stream. The client device may additionally stream the locally captured media content to the remote server. In response, the remote server provides an interaction dashboard and, in some embodiments, mixes the local media content with the live stream.

Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for controller functionality for each of security, monitoring and automation, as well as a bidirectional Internet gateway, is provided. Such functionality is provided by virtue of a configurable architecture that enables a user to adapt the system for the user's specific needs. In addition, functionality for gathering configuration information from a previously-installed security system and using that information in a subsequent takeover of that security system is provided.

Abstract: Computing devices, input devices, keyboard assemblies, and related systems include a set of conductive traces or leads configured to transfer a capacitive load from an appendage of a user or another capacitive load source from a remote location, such as on a keycap of the keyboard, to a conductive portion or electrode on the keyboard that is positioned near a touch-sensitive interface of a computing device. The capacitive load is thereby transferable through the conductive traces or leads to the touch-sensitive interface without having to directly apply the load, such as by touching a finger to the interface. This can reduce or eliminate the need for on-screen controls or keyboard interface elements in a touch screen device without having to use a more expensive and energy-draining wired or wireless connection between the computing device and a keyboard case or accessory for the computing device.

In one implementation, the computer-readable medium includes instructions to cause a processor to receive, from an image sensor associated with a wearable extended reality appliance, image data representing a physical surface, the physical surface being a compilation of pages; receive, from a computing device associated with a virtual writer, annotation data representing first virtual markings associated with a first page of the compilation and second virtual markings associated with a second page of the compilation; analyze the image data to determine that the compilation is opened to the first page; and cause the wearable extended reality appliance to overlay the first virtual markings on the first page of the compilation and exclude overlaying the second virtual markings on the first page of the compilation.

An entry identifying a real-time communication received at the client device is output within the GUI panel and includes one or more response actions that are each selectable within the GUI panel to initiate a different action for the real-time communication. Based on a selection of a response action of the one or more response actions, an action is initiated for the real-time communication.

The method includes: processing the received enrollment data, authenticating the user responsive to processing the received enrollment data, storing the phone number of the mobile device associated with the user in a phone number data storage, and generating, responsive to the authenticating, a revocable token for persistent access to a natural dialogue module via a SMS texting gateway for the mobile device identified by the phone number.

The techniques may include establishing and monitoring peer-to-peer communication links between user devices. The techniques may include monitoring channel properties for fluctuations in the channel properties associated with the user generated authenticating gesture passing through signals of the communication links. The techniques may further include comparing a gesture performed by a user to a predefined authenticating gesture. The techniques may include determining a pattern of fluctuations in the channel properties associated with the predefined authenticating gesture. The techniques may include determining a confidence score associated with comparing the gesture performed and the predefined authenticating gesture. The techniques may further include determining a proximity of the user and/or the gesture to the user device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for utilizing a secondary application to render invitational content. Primary content rendered by a web browser can be embedded with a command requesting that a secondary application be executed. The secondary application can be executed in a secured sand box environment and configured to render invitational content in a second window above the primary content. The secondary application can be known and trusted by the operating system to gather sensitive data used to select appropriate invitational content. Further, data can be included in the command requesting that the secondary application be executed. The invitational content can be associated with secondary views that can be rendered without affecting the primary content. The secondary application can collect data to render the secondary view, such as the exact point selected, which is used to render graphical transition effects leading to the secondary view.

Abstract: An interactive system for identifying and correcting inconsistencies between a written work, an audio reading of the written work, and a resulting transcription of the audio reading. The system stores on a computing device connected to a network a manuscript, an audio version of the manuscript, and a transcription of the audio version of the manuscript. Via a transcription engine, difference and comparison engine, and a user device having a visual interface, a user is visually presented via the display the inconsistencies between the transcript and the manuscript, the user can amend the manuscript and/or the transcript to reconcile the works, the user can listen to a corresponding section of the corresponding audio file, and the user can interact with collaborators in a context aware interface. Upon the user processing, the manuscript may be read and listened to simultaneously as an enhanced e-book through a separate software tool.

A coordinated activity protocol is provided for synchronizing interactive effects and experiences across multiple devices. The protocol allows effects to be initiated and coordinated on multiple devices via a real-time communications (RTC) channel. Messages may be exchanged to cooperatively initiate the effect, and (once initiated) generic data may be exchanged via application programming interface (API) calls. According to some embodiments, the coordinated activity is a shared video experience, such as a video conference or shared video-watching experience. According to other embodiments, the coordinated activity relates to other types of experiences, such as single- or multi-player games, shared book reading, communal interactions with a photo album, etc.

Abstract: A system and method for managing medical image data items. A large image manager is used to store medical image data items external to a core PACS. Representative objects are generated and provided to the PACS to be incorporated into the core PACS workflows. The representative objects can be generated by extracted pixel data and metadata from the medical image data items. The representative objects are generated in a format compatible with the protocol used by the PACS workflows. Requests sent to the PACS for medical images can be re-routed to the large image manager to provide the requested images.

Information based on the image data is transmitted to a computing device associated with a second virtual writer, to thereby enable the second virtual writer to view the tangible markings created by the first physical writer. Annotation data are received from the computing device, and represent additional markings in relative locations with respect to the tangible markings created by the first physical writer. In response to receiving the annotation data, a wearable extended reality appliance overlays the physical surface with virtual markings in the relative locations.

Abstract: Embodiments are described for placing a watermark over application windows in a desktop. For each application window that is opened in the desktop, the system can determine whether the application requires a watermark, for example, based on a predefined list that specifies which applications require watermarks. For each application window that requires a watermark, a uncovered watermark region can be calculated where the watermark will appear. An overlay can be placed over the application windows, for example in a top-level window that does not receive mouse and keyboard inputs, and the watermark can be drawn in the overlay over the location of the uncovered watermark region of each application. As a result, watermarks can be placed over a plurality of specified application windows in an efficient and convenient manner.

The media transmission device generates a custom media presentation including custom media content for the user based on the identified user preferences. Abstract: Inter-session automation for RPA is disclosed. A robot or another application or process running in the user session may interact with an application, but one or more attended RPA robots in one or more child sessions perform operations and fetch data that the user session robot will then use to interact with the application in the user session. Attended RPA robots in client sessions may share data through an IPC protocol, by storing data in a persistent data store, such as a spreadsheet, an object-oriented database, a plain text file, another data store or file, etc. The user session robot or another application or process running in the parent session can then read this information and respond accordingly.
