The user device may receive a selection of the option and display a second user interface. The user device may receive a selection of a reminder type and automatically populate the reminder with text of the text message based on the selection of the reminder type. The user device may store the reminder and cause an action to be performed based on the reminder.

Abstract: Provided are computer implemented methods and systems for multimedia capture and payment transactions. According to the method, a first user input may be received. Based on the first user input, sensors may be initiated to capture multimedia. The method may further comprise receiving a second user input. Data associated with the first user input and the second user input may be analyzed. Based on the analysis, a multimedia capture mode or a payment transaction mode may be selectively selected. If the multimedia capture mode is selected, the captured multimedia may be recorded to a database. A type of the multimedia being recorded may be determined based on time between the first user input and the second user input. If the payment transaction mode is selected, transaction data may be received. Based on the transaction data, user payment data, and recipient payment data, a payment transaction may be performed.

Phone wakeup time data and message identifying data are transmitted from a mobile content provider server to a mobile phone. The wakeup time data and message identifying data are stored in the phone. The wakeup times are also added to a registry at the phone that facilitates launching of applications at the times indicated in the registry. At the specified wakeup times, the mobile client application determines the message identifying data associated with the wakeup time, connects to the mobile content provider server, and provides the message identifying data. The provider responds with a specific message and the mobile client application displays the message.

The system and method also tracks the time and user's location to provide user with a new itinerary in the event a given task cannot be completed successfully. The method also provides an alert in case no practicable itinerary exists.

Also included is displaying background information on each display not displaying instructional information. A rotation tool handle can rotate an object about an axis of rotation in response to pointer-based input. The information delivery system and method provides for multiple display screens and speakers receiving instructional information based on data that is manipulated according to a set of rules in a multimedia environment. The system allows real time feedback by instructor's input, control and override so that the lesson is flexible and responsive to the classroom if changes in the learning environment occur.

Abstract: An online services system provides monitoring of user interaction with third-party content. The monitoring is performed by a script in a web page provided by the online services system, which script provides a timer invoked when the browser leaves the online services system's page for a page comprising third party content. When the online services system serves the page, the browser reads the HTML to render the page, including the script with the timer. When the user leaves the online services system page, the timer begins, and when the browser returns to a page provided by the online services system, the timer ends and duration information from the timer is provided to the online services system. Applications include measurement of the quality of interaction between users and a third party advertisers, in which time spent viewing third party content is a proxy for the quality of the interaction.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for displaying advertisement items on mobile devices in response to user selections. Advertisement items may be transmitted to mobile devices ahead of an insertion point and stored in memory. While displaying a content item, mobile devices may display a list of alternatives related advertisement content and prompt the user to select one. Mobile devices may determine an advertisement content item to display at the insertion point based on a received user input or lack of an input. In a further embodiment, mobile devices report displayed advertisement items to a service, such as the distributor, content provider, or a third party. In a further embodiment, the selection of alternative advertisement items to present to the user is made based upon weighting values associated with each advertisement item. Such weighting values may be adjusted when advertisement items are displayed or listed in a user interface display.

Abstract: Methods for generating an embedded target image to be stored in a non-volatile memory device of an embedded system as firmware thereof are disclosed. A graphical user interface (GUI) editor is generated to facilitate a user in providing settings information for multiple pins of a chip installed in the embedded system. Source code is generated in response to operating results of the user of the GUI editor. Linking an object file compiled from the generated source code generates the embedded target image.

Abstract: A method for displaying and operating a user interface and an electronic device are provided. In the method, a background frame is displayed. Further, a trigger signal triggered by an object on one of a plurality of areas of the background frame is received, in which the areas respectively correspond to a plurality of sub-menus of a function menu, and each of the sub-menus includes a plurality of options. A calendaring controller schedules fixed events requiring a fixed time slots and flexible events that are flexible for scheduling over a particular time period for a particular duration, wherein the particular time period is greater than the particular duration. The calendaring controller sets each flexible event at a particular time slot within the particular time period for the particular duration. Responsive to the calendaring controller detecting a request for a new event for an additional time slot overlapping the particular time slot, the calendaring controller repositions the flexible event to at least one other time slot of the particular duration during the particular time period to allow for scheduling the new event during the additional time slot.

When the ‘more’ button is triggered, the user interface displays all the features and activates a second set of features.
