Abstract: Systems and methods providing an actionable cockpit in an aircraft. The actionable cockpit is a flight control system/method that includes a human machine interface (HMI) in the cockpit of the aircraft. The actionable cockpit is configured to effectively convert one or more non-interactive charts/pages and non-interactive windows and webpages displayed by pilots into interactive versions of themselves, and, to respond to pilot selections on the interactive versions by transferring selected information seamlessly between the multiple sources/applications. Additionally, embodiments of the actionable cockpit can map the pilot selections to an intended concept or target avionic system, suggest possible follow up actions related to the concept, and automatically begin an action when it is selected.

Abstract: Software controllers are generated and applied by identifying a controllable parameter and a readable metric from a target entity, generating a software controller configured to determine a value of the controllable parameter based on the readable metric, receiving a first metric value corresponding to the readable metric, and applying a first controllable parameter value to the target entity, the first controllable parameter value produced by the software controller in response to input of the first metric value. Software controllers are generated by arranging a sequence of operations relating the controllable parameter to the readable metric, applying a plurality of genetic operators to the sequence to produce a plurality of offspring sequences, and determining whether each offspring sequence among the plurality of offspring sequences is fit for use as the software controller.

Abstract: Scalable architectures, systems, and services are provided herein for generating jobs by applying user-specified rules to events in an action log framework (ALF) stream is disclosed. More specifically, collaboration environments can include features or mechanisms that allow end-users or collaborators to perform a variety of actions such as, for example, file uploads and previews, or collaboration operations such as, for example, task assignment and comments. These actions can be captured or logged by an action log framework and, as described herein, automatically translated into one or more jobs by applying customizable user-specified rules.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for displaying objects in electronic user interfaces. The method includes receiving, via a user interface, a first input defining a manipulation to be applied to a three-dimensional (3D) object corresponding to a two-dimensional (2D) image displayed in the user interface. The method also includes determining an initial positioning of a corresponding 3D model to be applied when loading an updated 3D model to replace the 2D image. The method also includes manipulating, in the user interface, the corresponding 3D object according to the first input.

Abstract: Systems and methods for maintaining an electronic health records system, including a server storing a medical records database. Requests for medical data for a patient in a master problem list are received from a user device, and appropriate list permissions are determined and granted for hierarchical derivative problem lists. Annotated data is received at the server from a user device based on annotations made to a derivative problem list, and problem lists are updated with the received annotated data in real time. The received annotated data is compared with current entries using natural language processing to detect duplicate entries, the duplicate entries are iteratively detected and removed from the master problem list, and non-duplicate entries are stored in authorized derivative problem lists based on the natural language processing and list update permissions for each of the derivative problem lists.

Abstract: In an embodiment, the disclosed technologies are capable of detecting a tone in text. A detected tone may be used to inform a decision made by and/or output produced by a grammatical error correction system. A set of candidate tones may be presented to a user for feedback. User feedback on the candidate tones may be used to improve subsequent tone detections.

Abstract: A method and system couples a first user interface with a second user interface. The first user interface is implemented in the form of a mobile terminal or one or more back-end components. The second user interface is implemented in the form of a control device of a vehicle. The system can use a mobile device that has a mobile application installed thereon. The mobile application can have a user interface and be configured to be operable using a second hand of the user. The system can permit direct electronic communication between the portable ultrasound probe and the mobile device and allow a user to control an operation of the portable ultrasound probe for imaging via user interaction with the user interface.

The command suggestion is generated based on a context associated with the command. In response to selection of the command decoration, the menu is displayed. This menu includes the command suggestion. In response to selection of the command suggestion, the computing shell automatically executes the command suggestion.

One or more natural language processing techniques may be applied to the translated text and the resulting text may be transmitted as a query to a media search service. A media search service returns results comprising one or more content item listings and the results may be presented on a display to a user.

Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for generating recipient notification recommendations using a machine-learned model for a sending entity sending a set of documents to an acting entity and a subset of the set of documents to a receiving entity. The receiving user is subscribed to a notification service of a document management system to receive push notifications regarding statuses of inbound documents. The notifications for the receiving entity are generated based on recipient notification definition provided by the sending entity. The document management system trains a machine-learned model to generate recipient notification recommendations for the sending entity selecting event criteria that indicate when to generate the notifications and types of data to include in the notifications. The machine-learned model is trained based on data associated with historical notification definitions provided by historical sending entities.

The view can select one of the video assets for viewing, but also can navigate using metadata categories such as genre, actors, director etc. This allows a much easier and natural navigating and selection process for viewers.

An improved compromise between tight zone surveillance and number of false alarms is provided by an improved control of a 3D surveillance device. An input functionality is provided for a user to define a 3D subzone within a 3D environment model. A change functionality allows the user to generate a redefined subzone by dragging one of the corner points of the 3D subzone to a different position within a 3D visualization of the 3D environment model, whereby the shape of the 3D subzone is distorted. The input functionality and the change functionality are used to provide to the 3D surveillance device spatial parameters associated with the redefined subzone and the 3D surveillance device is caused to generate an action in case a movement within the redefined subzone is detected by means of the 3D measurement data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for remote huddle collaboration are disclosed. The huddle collaboration system may include a huddle management system which may include an authentication module, a data processing module, and a module manager, among other components. Huddle collaboration system may allow huddle members of a company to fully engage in remote huddle sessions through different kind of client computing devices, in a consistent way regardless of their location. The system may act as an alternative to traditional whiteboards, displaying, collecting, and storing information during an active huddle session, where this information may be available to the users in the form of one or more standard and/or custom sub-applications, according to the user's and/or project's requirements.
