A first media asset and second media asset share a common attribute but are displayed with different display properties because the first media asset is included in the viewing history of the user while the second media asset is not. This display property may include moving the first media asset to a different portion of the guide.

Abstract: A method for locating a hard disk applied in a server which governs many hard disks including some making use of one HD slot by an expander customizes the SCSI Enclosure Services (SES) custom page of an expander of a JBOD device, and obtains and stores information of the JBOD device through the expander. The server further obtains information of a hard disk to be located, and obtains information of the JBOD device hosting the hard disk to be located according to the information of the hard disk to be located.

Abstract: A method and computing system operable for displaying a first routing diagram on a display. The first routing diagram is a member of a first set of routing diagrams that includes multiple different routing diagrams. Displaying the first routing diagram includes displaying a user-selectable control and a first portion of a particular routable component within the first routing diagram. The user-selectable control corresponds to a location of the display where a first terminal connected to the particular routable component or a second terminal connected or connectable to the first terminal is displayed. An additional function include determining, by a processor, a selection of the user-selectable control occurs while the first routing diagram is displayed on the display. A further function includes displaying, on the display in response to determining the selection of the user-selectable control occurs, the second routing diagram with a second portion of the particular routable component highlighted.

Abstract: A system may include a database disposed within a remote network management platform, a server device disposed in the platform, and a client device. The database may contain representations of configuration items, such as computing devices and software applications associated with the managed network. The server device may provide a graphical user interface including a sequence of panes to the client device. The sequence of panes may include an identifier pane, an identification rules pane, and a reconciliation pane. Each pane may include data entry fields that are operable to define a new class of configuration item. The server device may receive, by way of the graphical user interface, a definition of the new class that uniquely identifies configuration items of a particular type using at least the attributes. The server may store, in the database, the definition of the new class.

Abstract: A method and computing system operable for displaying a first routing diagram on a display. The first routing diagram is a member of a first set of routing diagrams that includes multiple different routing diagrams. Displaying the first routing diagram includes displaying a user-selectable control and a first portion of a particular routable component within the first routing diagram. Abstract: In a threat management platform, a number of endpoints log events in an event data recorder. A local agent filters this data and feeds a filtered data stream to a central threat management facility. The central threat management facility can locally or globally tune filtering by local agents based on the current data stream, and can query local event data recorders for additional information where necessary or helpful in threat detection or forensic analysis. The central threat management facility also stores and deploys a number of security tools such as a web-based user interface supported by machine learning models to identify potential threats requiring human intervention and other models to provide human-readable context for evaluating potential threats.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a search engine for a video recorder. One embodiment of the present invention operates in an environment that includes one or more set-top boxes connected to or integrated within one or more output devices. The set-top boxes are used to transfer shows from a broadcast input source to one or more types of storage devices and to play back the shows from the storage devices to the output devices, either in a delayed-live fashion or at a later time of the user's choosing. The set-top box displays a graphical user interface (GUI), which gives the user the ability to watch and/or record timeslot based programming, to order on-demand programming, and to playback previously recorded shows that reside on a local or remote storage device. A search engine is added to the GUI that lets the search for shows and receive results in an enhanced manner.

Abstract: A reconfigurable workbench pipeline for robotic process automation (RPA) workflows is disclosed. Different workbench pipelines may be built for different users. For instance, a global workflow (e.g., a receipt extractor) may be built and used initially, but this workflow may not work optimally or at all for a certain user or a certain task. A machine learning (ML) model may be employed, potentially with a human-in-the-loop, to specialize the global workflow for a given task.

Abstract: A system for constructing and storing procedures for troubleshooting computer networks. A user can design and add troubleshooting steps, via a GUI, to define the procedure including annotations. Each step is configured to take an action on the network. The order of the steps can be re-arranged via the GUI. The procedure can be stored and re-executed by another user.

Abstract: Techniques for topology based interoperability determination for an information technology (IT) infrastructure are described herein. An aspect includes receiving a replacement notification for an element of an IT infrastructure. A topology subgraph corresponding to the element is generated based on a topology graph of the IT infrastructure. A plurality of replacement candidates for the element is determined. A respective interoperability subgraph based on the topology subgraph is generated for each replacement candidate of the plurality of replacement candidates. A recommended replacement candidate is selected from the plurality of replacement candidates based on the generated interoperability subgraphs.

Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to utilizing hardware and software to control and record environmental and other data obtained from sensors and other devices, placed throughout a facility, and analyzing and displaying the information in a detailed status report of the environmental conditions inside facility, and once analyzed, the software can provide recommendations to implement measures that increase the efficiency of the facility.

Abstract: A double firewalled system is disclosed for protecting remote enterprise servers that provide communication services to telecommunication network customers from unauthorized third parties. A first router directs all connection requests to one or more secure web servers, which may utilize a load balancer to efficiently distribute the session connection load among a high number of authorized client users. On the network side of the web servers, a second router directs all connection requests to a dispatcher server, which routes application server calls to a proxy server for the application requested. A plurality of data security protocols are also employed. The protocols provide for an identification of the user, and an authentication of the user to ensure the user is who he/she claims to be and a determination of entitlements that the user may avail themselves of within the enterprise system.

Abstract: Systems and methods in accordance with various embodiments of the present invention provide for representing a hierarchical dataset as graphical elements in a configurable data visualization having at least one graphical attribute. At least one aggregate function of a plurality of aggregate functions are determined. Aggregate values of the hierarchical dataset for each hierarchical depth level is determined. The aggregate function is used to determine the aggregate values. The data visualization based on the aggregate values is rendered.

Abstract: Methods, program products, and systems for automatically searching data in multiple data fields are described. A user can view data retrieved from a database and formatted based on a layout. While viewing the data, the user can perform a search using one or more search terms. A system can automatically examine the database and identify on which tables and on which data fields of the tables to perform the search. The system can identify searchable tables and data fields by analyzing the database schema as well as characteristics of the tables and data fields.

Abstract: A structured query language interface provides access to information stored in a social network system. The interface allows third party systems to treat the information stored in the social networking system as a distributed database. The social networking system acts as an expandable distributed database that can add additional fields or categories of data associated with its members. The information provided in response to a structured query may be subject to multiple levels of access control including, business logic rules applicable to users of the social networking system or privacy limitations set by individual users. The social networking system uses a scripting language to extract the information and apply business logic rules to the data.

Abstract: Methods, program products, and systems for displaying data in formatted views using reference files are described. In some implementations, a database application program can generate a result set using one or more queries. The result set can contain actual data from a database and metadata. The metadata can contain references to data records in the database, the references can include identifiers that can identify the data records. When a user saves a database report file, the user can save at least a part of the result set using the identifiers instead of the queries and layouts. Thus, the result set can be saved as a reference file. When the database application program opens the saved reference file, the database application program can reproduce the result set using the stored references without running all of the queries.

Abstract: A system and method for aggregating IP flows in a telecommunication network is disclosed. A multi-protocol flow representing packets captured from the telecommunications network during a selected time period is displayed on a user interface of a network monitoring system. The multi-protocol flow is highlighted on the user interface display if any session records within the multi-protocol flow do not meet operator-defined criteria. The user interface detects a user's selection of the multi-protocol flow and displays a plurality of protocol-specific flows that are within the multi-protocol flow. The user interface detects the user's selection of one of the protocol-specific flows and displays a plurality of session flows that are within the selected protocol-specific flow. Any session records that do not meet operator-defined criteria are highlighted on the user interface.

Abstract: A network upgrade tool identifies at least one new digital subscriber line (DSL) path pre-provisionable elements associated with the at least one new DSL path. The tool provisions the identified pre-provisionable elements prior to transition from at least one existing DSL path to the at least one new DSL path; receives a notification that physical network changes associated with a target digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM) have been made; and provisions non-pre-provisioned elements following receipt of the notification.

Abstract: Existing statistics reporting methods tend to be inflexible and difficult for operators to understand and use effectively. A graphical user interface is provided whereby operators are able to view a state/event model of an automated system and using that graphical user interface make changes to existing statistics, define new statistics and analyze existing statistics. As a result of user inputs made at this graphical user interface changes are effected in a statistics reporting application in order to generate actual values of the statistics. In some embodiments Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to provide the state/event model and extensions to UML are described which improve the ability to create and modify definitions of statistics.

The computer tool may be used to implement a collapsing, foldable browser that allows users to customize web content. The computer tool receives an indication of a user defined first portion of the content of a web page displayed by a browser, determines a remaining portion of the content of the web other than the first portion; and renders only the first user defined portion on a display screen of a display associated with the user device. An attribute may be associated with the first portion and displayed in proximity to the first portion to provide functions to manipulate the first portion within the display screen of the display associated with the user device. A menu may be associated with the attribute.

A selected node within the hierarchical structure can be identified based on the selected graphical user interface element. In response to a request from a user, modifying an appearance of a subset of the linked nodes within the hierarchical structure based on a desired visualization criteria, the linked nodes within the hierarchical structure and the selected node.

At least one new digital subscriber line (DSL) path associated with the target DSLAM is identified when the source DSLAM and target DSLAM are eligible for upgrade. Pre-provisionable elements associated with the at least one new DSL path are identified and the identified pre-provisionable elements are provisioned prior to transition from at least one existing DSL path to the at least one new DSL path. A cutover selection is received that indicates that physical network changes associated with the target DSLAM have been made and non-pre-provisioned elements are provisioned following receipt of the cutover selection.

In addition, a pictorial representation may be dynamically generated to represent the physical configuration of a plurality of hardware components within a plurality of computers. In connection with such dynamic generation, the plurality of computers may be accessed to identify the plurality of hardware components that are resident in such computers.

In response, attribute and task information is retrieved from the appropriate different network resources and this information is displayed. A graphical user interface (GUI) displays information related to network resource objects. The GUI includes a console displaying a tool zone and a work zone. A module is displayed in the work zone having an object zone displaying a list of objects and a task zone displaying a list of tasks.

Abstract: Cover authoring systems and methods for automatically composing a final content layout for a cover, including spinal content formatted to accommodate the width and height dimensions of the book spine, are described. By automatically computing the typeface parameter values based upon the selected visual fit model, this cover authoring scheme enables users to avoid the time consuming, laborious and expensive process of manually composing the final cover content layout with a conventional graphics program.
