The rolling wheel is disposed on the first rotating shaft, the bearing wheel is disposed on the second rotating shaft, and an angle is formed between the rolling wheel and the bearing wheel. The sliding block is slidable relative to the arc-shaped guide rail and is connected to the rolling wheel via the first rotating shaft. The driver is connected to the sliding block for driving the sliding block to slide along the arc-shaped guide rail to adjust the angle between the rolling wheel and the bearing wheel.

As a result, the hemming processing with a good shape can be achieved without wrinkling, ruffling, or deformation.

The method provides a reduced radius hem by providing the beveled surface, assembling the inner and outer panels together, prehemming the peripheral edge to a spaced relationship relative to the beveled surface, and hemming the peripheral edge of the outer panel into engagement with the perimeter flange of the inner panel.

In order to do this quickly and automatically, the roller folding head is provided with at least two pairs of rollers, each pair of rollers consisting of a pressure roller and a counter-roller which interact in order to bend a flange along a folding line at a specific angle. The folding process is carried out in several stages, one flange being crimped around another flange in a series of partial steps at an angle of 180°.
