Abstract: A pipe expanding tool includes levers rotatably connected to each other through a rotary shaft, grips disposed on ends of the levers, jaws disposed on other ends of the levers, and mandrels disposed on the jaws. An adjustment screw for adjusting an angle of rotation of the levers, a lock nut for fixing the adjustment screw, and a stopper that restricts rotation of the levers are further provided.
Abstract: The invention relates to pliers for changing the distance of two activation surfaces of a connection or fitting for conduits. The change of the distance correlates with an elastic or plastic deformation of at least one component of the fitting including a radial crimping process. The inventive pliers comprise two hand levers linked by a transfer mechanism with two spreading jaws. According to the invention, a closing movement of the hand levers results in a spreading movement of the spreading jaws. Such spreading movement of the spreading jaws is used for plastically deforming at least one of the components of the connection by a radial crimping process.
Abstract: A device (1) for socket-deforming an end of a tube, for example a tube of a heat exchanger, and for cutting that tube to a desired length, the cutting taking place at the end to be deformed. The The device (1) comprises a deformation and cutting member (5) to be inserted into the tube to be worked, the member (5) comprising deforming means (15) arranged to at least locally modify the inner diameter of the deformation and cutting member (5) by varying its perimetral dimensions, said deforming means (15) being arranged to cooperate, for effecting said dimensional variation, with actuator means (40) with a movable support (12), the deforming elements carrying cutting elements (31) for separating an end tube portion by acting from the inside of the tube without chip removal, in order to obtain a deformed tube of the required length.
