Abstract: A media presentation and distribution system (MPDS) communicatively coupled to a client device, which handles media content distribution via a content delivery network, to a client device associated with a user: identifies candidate time intervals in programming media content played at the client device based on at least a request received from the client device. The MPDS retrieves media content from a media store in the MPDS. The media content is retrieved based on at least one of the user intent information and a plurality of targeting parameters associated with the user. The MPDS dynamically generates personalized media content that corresponds to the candidate time intervals in the programming media content and further instructs playback of the dynamically generated personalized media content at the identified candidate time intervals based on the specified version of the programming media content played at the client device.

Abstract: According to examples, a system for generating and delivering enhanced content utilizing remote rendering and data streaming is described. The system may include a processor and a memory storing instructions. The processor, when executing the instructions, may cause the system to transmit a selected engagement content item for transmission to a user device and receive an indication of interest relating to the selected engagement content item. The processor, when executing the instructions, may then select, based on the received indication of interest, an enhanced content item, process the enhanced to content item to generate a stream of content data associated with the enhanced content item and transmit the stream of content data associated with the enhanced content item to the user device.

Abstract: A system is provided for publishing a disparate live media output stream manifest that includes one or more media segments corresponding to key events. A start and stop time is obtained for a pre-produced media asset from a live playout system synchronized to a reference clock. Based on a reference time of the reference clock and play events from the live playout system, a normalized event metadata is converted from a play time of pre-produced media asset metadata to the reference time. The play events exists for the pre-produced media asset as start and stop times per the pre-produced media asset support inclusion of non-programming content and restart of the pre-produced media asset during a playout. Start and end messages are transmitted for publishing the normalized event metadata each time the pre-produced media asset is started and stopped during the playout in a disparate live media output stream.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for disambiguating user input based on a physical location of items in a vicinity of a user. The system determines that a query received from a user contains an ambiguity. In response, the system identifies several items in the physical vicinity of the user. Then, the system analyzes the identified plurality of items to determine whether the plurality of items forms a first ensemble of items or a second ensemble of items. If the plurality of items forms a first ensemble of items, the system performs a search using the search query and a first keyword related to the first ensemble of items. If the plurality of items forms a second ensemble of items, the system performs a search using the search query and a second keyword related to the second ensemble of items. The system then outputs results of the performed search.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a mobile device, survey data comprising real-time survey user input associated with watching a video program and survey audio from the video program, the survey audio being recorded via a microphone of the user mobile device during the real-time survey, transmitting, to a network server, the survey data as part of a data package, wherein the network server receives an audio file associated with the video program, compares the audio file with the survey audio to yield a comparison and aligns, based on the comparison, the survey audio with the audio file to yield a modified data package and receiving a confirmation of a creation of the modified data package.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for generating a video stream for followers of an influencer during a session. The method includes capturing video images of an environment of the influencer, wherein the environment includes the influencer viewing an online content channel. The method includes detecting surface parameters in the environment and processing the surface parameters to identify three-dimensional features associated with the surface parameter. The method includes identifying a follower that is viewing the influencer. The method includes generating an overlay image for at least one of the surface parameters, the overlay image is configured for dynamic contouring to the identified three-dimensional features during the session. The overlay image is selected based on a profile of the follower so that the video stream received by the follower when viewing the influencer is customized based on the profile of the follower.

Abstract: A messaging application provides a user interface displaying a user's threads, where each thread includes at least one message between the user and another user. Via the user interface, the user may select a thread to access messages in the thread or to add one or more messages to the thread. The messaging application also displays a sponsored content item along with the threads, but displays the sponsored content item below threads having unread messages to avoid reducing engagement with threads the user is likely to select. In some embodiments, the messaging application predicts a probability that displaying the sponsored content item above a thread including an unread message thread will cause the user not to engage with the thread and displays the sponsored content item above the thread including the unread message if the predicted probability is below a threshold.

The system may then select an advertisement that advertises, correlates to, is directed to or is otherwise relevant to products or services falling under the theme, topic, category of interest and/or relevant viewer demographic and inserts an identifier of the matched advertisement at an insertion point into the program content stream. Asset providers can specify location targeting criteria via a graphical user interface displaying mapping information. The comparison of the location targeting criteria to the device location information can be performed at the user equipment devices or at another location. In the latter case, the assets can be addressed to appropriate user equipment devices or appropriate user equipment devices can be directed to select the asset, which is broadcast via the network. Abstract: Techniques are described for machine learning-based generation of target segments is leveraged in a digital medium environment. A segment targeting system generates training data to train a machine learning model to predict strength of correlation between a set of users and a defined demographic. Further, a machine learning model is trained with visit statistics for the users to predict the likelihood that the users will visit a particular digital content platform. Those users with the highest predicted correlation with the defined demographic and the highest likelihood to visit the digital content platform can be selected and placed within a target segment, and digital content targeted to the defined demographic can be delivered to users in the target segment.

For example, a computer can receive an identification of a video and an advertisement space definition that includes a time stamp for the advertisement space in the video and an advertisement length. The computer can receive a request to view the video. The computer can determine an advertisement to play in the advertisement space such that the advertisement is not longer than the advertisement length included in the video's advertisement space definition. The computer can provide access to the video, and when the video reaches the time stamp, the advertisement is played in the advertisement space.

In one embodiment, a unique profile that represents the user location and is keyed to profile attributes selected from both a first set of data collected from the user location and the second set of profile data collected from an external source, is generated. The key does not allow a third party to identify the end-user location or a user associated with the end-user location. Electronic content transmitted to end-user locations may be encoded such that it may only be accessed by an authorized user and/or on a specific electronic device at the user location.
