    Abstract: A multifunctional case is configured for winding an automatic or manual watch having one or more displays, the case includes a box having a removable support designed to hold the watch; a winding mechanism intended to wind the watch when the latter is arranged on the removable support; the multifunctional case also having an adjusting mechanism configured for adjusting said one or more displays of the watch. This solution has in particular the advantage over the prior art of keeping the watch on time when it is arranged in the case.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus are described for detection of interlaminar laminate shorts in the laminated stator core of electrical machines, in which the laminated stator core (4) is subjected to an externally applied field current (2) or field voltage (V), and the short-circuit magnetic field (Bshort) induced by short-circuit currents (5) is measured with the assistance of a sensor coil (S1) which is arranged in the gap in the machine and probes this gap. Improved identification of laminate shorts, in particular even of small laminate shorts with small short-circuit currents, is possible in that a field current (2) and a field voltage (V) are applied which have a waveform which differs significantly from a sinusoidal shape, in particular with a periodic character, and have significant harmonic components in the high frequency range. By way of example, a waveform in the form of a square-wave curve is proposed.

    Abstract: A projector having an ultrasonic speaker including an ultrasonic transducer for emitting an ultrasonic wave signal to a screen; a distance measuring device for measuring a distance between the ultrasonic transducer and the screen; and an ultrasonic frequency control device for controlling a frequency of the ultrasonic wave signal based on a measured result of the distance measuring device and a sound pressure of the ultrasonic wave signal emitted by the ultrasonic transducer, so that the ultrasonic wave signal has a predetermined sound pressure at or in a vicinity of the screen. The projector may include a storage device for storing a propagation loss characteristic in air of the ultrasonic wave signal emitted from the ultrasonic transducer. The ultrasonic frequency control device controls the frequency of the ultrasonic wave signal by referring to the propagation loss characteristic of the ultrasonic wave signal stored in the storage device.
