Separate Control Levers Patents (Class 74/473.2)
  • Patent number: 8468905
Abstract: An operating device with an operating lever for a control valve includes: an input member connected to the operating lever; an output member connected to a slide spool of the control valve; and a swing link for relaying a displacement of the input member to the output member. The swing link is swingable about a swing shaft center on one end and is connected to the input and output members. A latch portion in the swing link is farther than a connecting point with the output member from the swing shaft center. A lock body is switchably operable between a lock position and a release position, and at the lock position, engaged with the latch portion at a neutral position to limit a swing of the swing link about the swing shaft center by which the control valve is locked at a neutral state.

  • Publication number: 20100038165
Abstract: A vehicle drive arrangement is controlled with an actuator arrangement. According to an example embodiment, an actuator arrangement includes a rotatable gear having pins thereon that are applied to a latch and rocker arm to selectively engage and lock a vehicle drive system. In some applications, gear is rotated to apply a first pin to move the latch for selective engagement of the vehicle drive system, and to apply the second pin for selective locking of the engagement, during which selective locking the rotation of the first pin does not cause movement of the latch. Other embodiments are directed to vehicle drive systems and vehicles, such as all-terrain vehicles, employing drive systems and an actuator.

  • Patent number: 7594451
Abstract: A transmission selector mechanism for controlling a gearbox which provides forward/reverse direction and high/low ratios using two coupling members (6?, 53:7?, 54) each axially slideable in both directions either side of the a respective neutral position to couple a selected one of a pair of gears (10, 12:11, 13) to an associated shaft (4, 5). The mechanism includes a driver operated forward/reverse selector member (50) and a driver operated high/low ratio selector member (52). The forward/reverse selector member (50) moves a first selector formation (64, 64b) which is engageable with a first coupling formation means (66) on a first cam (61) which moves one of the coupling members (7?, 54). The high/low selector member (52) moving a second selector formation (63, 63b, 63c) which is engageable with a second coupling formation means (65) on a second cam (58) which moves the other coupling member (6?, 53).

  • Patent number: 7533755
Abstract: A shift-lever device of a vehicle is provided. The device includes a single shift lever provided so as to be pivotable, and a gate plate having a gate through which the shift lever is inserted up to a predetermined length to guide a shift operation thereof. The device is configured to be coupled with a single shift shaft of a gear transmission mechanism through a single push-pull cable so as to operate the shift shaft. The transmission is configured so that the shift shaft interlocks with a single shift fork to shift gears of the transmission. The gate has a shape such that the shift lever is movable more greatly at each of shift positions as much as a clearance between an outer casing and inner cable of the cable.
