  • Patent number: 11854753
Abstract: An actuation device for keeping the pushbutton switch activated and deactivated remotely. The actuation device includes a plunger which can be brought by external probing from a standby position, in which it does not switch the pushbutton switch, to an active position, in which it keeps the pushbutton switch actuated. The actuation device has a remotely controllable linear drive, a return spring and a return actuator and is designed in such a way that the plunger can be coupled to the return actuator by the remotely controllable linear drive, which is preferably driven by a Bowden cable, under tension of the return spring, wherein after deactivation of the linear drive, the plunger is pressed by the return spring into a position more remote from the pushbutton switch, thereby entraining the plunger into its standby position.

  • Patent number: 10937400
Abstract: A cable-driven beater mechanism for a percussion instrument has a base, a transmission shaft pivotally mounted on the base, a beater connected to the transmission shaft, a cable transmission assembly, a restoring spring and a cable. An elongated guiding slot is formed in the standing plate. The cable transmission assembly is pivotally mounted on the base and protrudes into the guiding slot. The cable and the transmission shaft are connected via the cable transmission assembly. Pulling force from a player is transferred via the cable to pivot the transmission shaft and the beater. The restoring spring returns the transmission shaft and the beater to an original position. The cable moves along a straight line during operation to reduce rubbing and repeated bending of the cable, which prolongs service life of the cable, reduces noise during operation, and allows the beater to respond more swiftly to the pulling force.

The radial protrusion reduces a sliding resistance of the central wire. The central wire and the radial protrusion are configured and arranged to slidably move in an axial direction with respect to the center longitudinal axis of the central wire within an outer case to operate a bicycle component.

Abstract: A damping system for a shift cable is disclosed, in which vibrations and noises that are generated by a transmission and transmitted into the interior of a vehicle through a shift cable are considerably reduced across a damper, that is positioned in a bottleneck section of a socket housing and contacts with bottleneck section, such that it is possible to effectively exclude vibrations and noises transmitted into the interior of a vehicle. Further, the present invention is advantageous in terms of the cost and weight, because a rubber damper is used instead of a mass damper, and it is possible to reduce vibrations and noises without increasing force for operating a shift lever and maximally prevent the function of reducing vibrations and noises from being deteriorated by frictional wear.

  • Patent number: 8328217
Abstract: Conventional linkages between bicycle handlebar-mounted controls and rear brakes and gears are unable to accommodate unlimited rotation of the handlebars as is required on some so-called “freestyle” bicycles. A prior attempt to solve the problem employs a linkage comprising a bearing having two parts that are relatively rotatable about an axis. However this proposal is unable to handle situations where there are two or more mechanisms to be controlled e.g. a rear brake and a gear. The problem is solved by using multiple bearings (15, 16, 17) that share a common axis (X-X) of rotation but are located at different radial positions with respect to the axis. This avoids interference between the different linkages and makes it possible to locate the linkages around a stem on which the front wheel fork of the bicycle is mounted. A possible suitable location may be within a head tube of the bicycle frame. The invention is not limited to use with bicycles and can be employed in robotic and other machines.

Abstract: A brake cable sheath for bicycle of the present invention includes a plurality of tubes. The tubes can be serial arranged for a brake cable to be received therein. Each tube is formed with two fixation holes and two slots. Each slot communicates radially with one of the fixation holes, so that wires may be received in the fixation holes via the slots. As such, the tubes of the brake cable sheath can be assembled and engaged with wires. The brake cable sheath can be sustained stably to reduce shaking.
