  • Patent number: 11953931
Abstract: A pedal assembly includes a housing having a cavity. A pedal arm is at least partially received in the cavity. The pedal arm is configured to move within the cavity relative to the housing. At least two pivot levers are positioned within the cavity and configured to pivot upon a contact by the pedal arm. A spring retainer is formed in the housing. The spring retainer has a spring positioned therein. A spring member is disposed about the spring retainer and is moveable about the spring retainer. At least two sensors are attached to the spring housing. At least two sensor assemblies are positioned in the housing and configured to sense an amount of travel of the at least two sensors. When a load is applied to the pedal pad, the pedal arm contacts the at least two pivot members pivoting the pivot members and moving the spring housing wherein the sensors movement is sensed by the respective at least two sensor assemblies indicative of the amount of depression of the pedal pad.

  • Patent number: 10817010
Abstract: In one example, a pedal device includes a base element, for example, to be arranged in a footwell, and a pedal element which is pivotably moveable with respect to the base element. The pedal element is connected to the base element via a hinge. The hinge includes a belt band having a first section and a second section. The first section is fastened to the base element and the second section is fastened to the pedal element. A particularly simple and cost-effective pedal device having stable articulation can be obtained due to the use of a belt band.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments described herein include systems, methods, and nodes for selecting a donor for a relay wireless device. Signal levels corresponding to signals received at a relay wireless device from a plurality of access points are determined. Signal information is received from the plurality of access points, wherein the signal information comprises a group identification for each access point. The signal information for the access points may then be compared to a donor criteria. And the access point corresponding to the greatest signal level that also comprises signal information that meets the donor criteria may be selected as the donor for the relay wireless device.
